The present invention provides a power strip having a surge protective circuit. When a surge is inputted into the power strip, the surge is subject to two-stage suppressions so as to protect the electrical appliances which are electrically connected to the power strip. The surge protective circuit of the power strip includes a first surge protective device, a buffer conductive device and a second surge protective device. The buffer conductive device is relatively small-sized and cost-effective in comparison with the bulky inductor used in conventional power strip.

A box adaptor with a revolvable socket dome is introduced to have a housing and at least a dome structure. The housing further include a bracket plate. The dome structure further includes a collar shaft at one end for forming a revolvable pair with the bracket plate and a dome surface at another end. By providing the engagement of the collar shaft and the bracket plate, the socket can change its facing direction as the respective dome structure revolves about the bracket plate.

A rotational split adaptor for engaging with gold-plated contacts of a communication socket is introduced to comprise a common plug, a socket assembly and a rotational joint. The common plug further includes a plug end for engaging with the communication socket and an opposing first oblique surface. The splitter has a plurality of parallel sockets electrically coupling with the communication socket, and the second oblique surface is used to pair with the first oblique surface. A charger includes a direct current (DC) converter and an alternating current (AC) converter. The DC converter includes a DC input port, a conversion circuit, a transmission port for inputting a second voltage, an output port, and a switch for selectively outputting the first voltage or the second voltage. A conductive electrode structure for a double-sided multi-socket adapter panel comprising a live conductive electrode bar and a neutral conductive electrode bar that provides the optimal number of plugging sockets as well as distance of separation for neighboring plugging sockets. Furthermore, the plugging sockets in each side of the adapter panel are oriented in such a way that all the live and neutral plugging slots are aligned in a row, thereby eliminating undesirable interference from neighboring plugging cables. In addition, some of the plugging sockets are spaced so far apart that even a large plug from a transformer adapter can be plugged without affecting plugging sockets in its neighborhood.

Conductive electrode structure for double-sided multi-socket adapter

The present invention provides an electric device comprising two electric terminals, a button mechanism having a push button that can depressed to toggle between 'on' and 'off' statuses, and a conductive reed that conducts electric current between the two electric terminals when connected and disables the passage of current when disconnected. When the button is set 'on', a reserve space exists between the reed and the button for the reed to spring upward without pushing the button upward. When the current passing through the reed exceeds a predetermined current level, the reed will become heated and spring upward and rest in the reserve space so as to electrically disconnect the two electric terminals.

A double-sided multi-socket adapter panel whose plugging sockets alternate between two opposite sides of the adapter panel such that some of the sockets are separated further apart so that even large-size plug of a transformer adapter can be accommodated without affecting the availability of neighboring plugging sockets. The electrode-plugging slots are aligned along a straight line parallel to the general layout direction of the plugging sockets, and therefore suitable for plugging vertical plugging head. Furthermore, each plugging socket has a protective cover capable of sliding so that whenever a plugging socket is unused, the plugging slots of the socket can be shut to prevent dust from entering or any accidental touching by somebody. The conductive electrode structures are designed such that the optimal number of plugging sockets and distance of separation between two sockets are obtained. In addition, the cut-off switch of the adapter is located in a cavity at one end, with the exposed part of the switch sunken beneath the external housing. Hence, the adapter pane has a rather smooth and planar external appearance, and capable of preventing the switching on or off the adapter panel by accident.
