Organic metal compounds, organic light-emitting devices, and lighting devices employing the same are provided. The organic metal compound has a chemical structure represented by Formula (I): wherein M is Ir, Pt, Ru, Os, Cu, Au, or Pd; n is 1, 2, or 3; m is 0, 1, or 2, and the sum of m and n is equal to a valence of M; L is a bidentate ligand; Ris hydrogen, Calkyl group, Ccycloalkyl group, or Caromatic group; each of Ris independent and can be hydrogen, halogen, cyano group, Calkyl group, Cfluoroalkyl group, Ccycloalkyl group, or Caromatic group; Ris halogen; and, Rand Rare independently the same or different hydrogen, hydroxyl group, amine group, alkyl amine group, halogen, cyano group, Calkyl group, Cfluoroalkyl group, Ccycloalkyl group, or Caromatic group.

Organic metal compound, organic light-emitting device, and lighting device employing the same

In an embodiment of the present disclosure, a liquid crystal display is provided. The liquid crystal display includes an upper substrate, a lower substrate opposite to the upper substrate, and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the upper substrate and the lower substrate, wherein the liquid crystal layer includes a first chiral compound and a second chiral compound, and the first chiral compound and the second chiral compound are enantiomeric and separated from each other.

A liquid crystal compound of Formula (I) is provided.  In Formula (I), A is benzene, naphthalene, pyridine, furan, thiophene or a single bond, D is benzene, naphthalene, pyridine, furan, thiophene or a single bond, Rand Rare C1-10 alkyl, C1-10 alkoxy, fluoro or trifluoro methyl, E is benzene, naphthalene, pyridine, furan, thiophene or a single bond, W is &#x2014;CO&#x2014;O&#x2014;, &#x2014;O&#x2014;CO&#x2014;, &#x2014;O&#x2014;, &#x2014;CH&#x2014;CH&#x2014;, &#x2014;CH&#x2550;CH&#x2014;, &#x2014;CH&#x2014;O&#x2014; or a single bond, Z is benzene, naphthalene, pyridine, furan, thiophene or a single bond, Y is hydrogen, methyl, ethyl or propyl, m is 0, 1 or 2, p is 0, 1 or 2, r is 0, 1 or 2, q is 0, 1 or 2, and n is 0, 1, 2 or 3. The invention also provides a liquid crystal display and photochromic material including the compound.
