A positioning system for providing an environmental positioning information of a field using monocular vision is disclosed. The positioning system is configured to provide an environmental positioning information of a field having a plurality of virtual floors corresponding to different heights, wherein each of the virtual floors has a plurality of marking positions. The positioning system includes a computing device configured to generate an environmental positioning information according to a first environmental image. The environmental positioning information has a positioning accuracy having various levels corresponding to the marking positions of each of the virtual floors. The computing device is further configured to divide each of the virtual floors into a plurality of work zones according to the positioning accuracy corresponding to the making positions.

Positioning system and positioning method

A UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) including a first barometer and a processing unit is provided. The first barometer provides a first air pressure value. The processing unit is coupled to the first barometer for receiving the first air pressure value from the first barometer, performing timing-synchronization on the first air pressure value provided by the first barometer and an external reference air pressure value provided by an external reference barometer to obtain a timing-synchronized first air pressure value and recalculating the timing-synchronized first air pressure value to generate a compensated air pressure value, wherein the processing unit performs data fusion calculation on the first air pressure value, the compensated air pressure value and a sensor data to obtain a target fused data and real-timely controls the altitude and the posture of the UAV according to the target fused data.

UAV and control method thereof

A drone apparatus and a method for deploying a drone working zone are provided. The drone apparatus includes an aircraft body, a communication device, a positioning device and a flight controller. The flight controller is configured to: set edge rules of a working zone unit used to construct a working zone for the drone apparatus to work around a bridge; control the aircraft body to fly along a target section selected in the bridge according to a control signal received by the communication device, and calculate positions of multiple points of interest (POIs) passed by during the flight using the positioning device; generate one working zone unit with positions of adjacent two of the POIs according to the edge rules of the working zone unit; and combine multiple working zone units generated by using positions of all the POIs to construct and deploy the working zone of the target section.

Drone apparatus and method for deploying drone working zone

A method and system of measuring a radio wave distribution of a radio signal source and estimating corresponding radio characteristics by using a flying vehicle is provided. The method includes the following steps. At a number of flight positions during a measurement process, a number of first radio signals transmitted by the radio signal source are measured by the flying vehicle. A position of the radio signal source is estimated according to the first radio signals and a radio channel model. A number of first radio characteristics of the first radio signal are obtained, and a radio wave distribution of the radio signal source is estimated according to the first radio characteristics of the first radio signals and a number of second radio characteristics of a number of second radio signals in the radio wave distribution are estimated according to the first radio characteristics of the first radio signals.

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), a system and a method for determining a landing status of the UAV are provided. The UAV system includes a UAV, a landing surface and a processing unit. The UAV has a landing gear furnished with a plurality of sensors. The landing surface is provided for the UAV to land thereon. The processing unit, coupled electrically with the plurality of sensors, is to determine, while the UAV is landing towards the landing surface, either whether or not a number of the plurality of sensors that have touched the landing surface at least once within a touch-judging time is not less than a predetermined touch-judging number, or whether or not a number of the plurality of sensors that contact the landing surface synchronously within a land-judging time is not less than a predetermined land-judging number.

The communication path managing method includes the following steps: A plurality of communication paths connected to a vehicle are provided. A tag searching region is established in the visible light image in response to a writing operation performed by a writing object having a color tag pattern.
