A light emitting device comprises a coherent source generating coherent light, a diffusing element, and a light guide part. The diffusing element includes first and second surfaces opposite to each other, and disperses the coherent light from the coherent source to generate incoherent light. The light guide part is provided on the side of the first surface of the diffusing element; it guides the coherent light emitting from the coherent source to be incident on the first surface to form a first light path, guides a part of incoherent light emitting from the first surface to emit through the first light path, guides the remaining incoherent light to emit through a second light path, and separates the first and second light paths. The luminous flux of the incoherent light emitting through the first light path is less than that of the incoherent light emitting through the second light path.

Light emitting device with diffuser and light reflector and projection system having the same

A phosphor layer comprising a phosphor plate adhesively formed by a phosphor powder and an adhesive agent. The phosphor plate has a front side and a back side. The phosphor layer also has particles which are fixedly connected to the front and/or back side of the phosphor plate. Also provided in the present invention are a phosphor component, a corresponding light source, a projection system, and a method for manufacturing the phosphor layer. The phosphor component prevents adhesion between the phosphor plate and substrates thereof in high temperature conditions. A manufacturing method for the phosphor layer includes forming a phosphor plate by adhesively fixing a phosphor powder by an adhesive agent, the phosphor plate having a front side and a back side, and fixedly connecting at least one particle to the front and/or back side of the phosphor plate.

A projection system, a light source system and a light source assembly. The light source system includes an excitation light source, a wavelength conversion device, a filter device, a drive device and a first optical assembly. The wavelength conversion device includes at least one wavelength conversion region; the filter device is fixed relative to the wavelength conversion device and includes at least one first filter region. The drive device drives the wavelength conversion device and the filter device, so that the wavelength conversion region and the first filter region synchronously move, and the wavelength conversion region is periodically disposed on a propagation path of excitation light, to wavelength-convert the excitation light into the converted light. The first optical assembly guides the converted light into the first filter region; and the first filter region filters the converted light to improve its color purity.

Projection system, light source system and light source assembly

A light source comprising an excitation light source for providing excitation light, and an optical wavelength conversion member disposed at a distance from the excitation light source. The optical wavelength conversion member comprises an optical wavelength conversion material for converting the excitation light into stimulated light. The light source also comprises an optical-guiding member that allows the excitation light to be incident on the optical wavelength conversion material, and an optical-collecting member for collecting converted light originating from the optical wavelength conversion material. To separate the paths of the converted light and the excitation light, the etendue of the optical-guiding member is less than or equal to &#xbc; of the etendue of the optical-collecting member. This allows the optical-guiding member to draw in the excitation light while preventing the excessive escape of the converted light through the optical-guiding member.

A light source system comprises: a light-emitting device for emitting a first light and a second light in sequence; a beam splitting system with which the first light is divided into one beam in a first range of wavelength and the other beam in a second range of wavelength, respectively emitted along a first optical path and a second optical path, and also with which at least a part of the second light is emitted along the first optical path; a first spatial light modulator for modulating the beam emitted from the beam splitting system along the first optical path; a second spatial light modulator for modulating the beam emitted from the beam splitting system along the second optical path. Provided is a projection device, comprising a light-emitting apparatus, a spatial light modulator, a pixel shifting apparatus, a projection lens, and a control processor; the light-emitting apparatus comprises an excitation light source, a colored-light generating apparatus, and a drive apparatus; the control processor is separately connected to the drive apparatus, the light source, the spatial light modulator, and the pixel shifting apparatus, and is used for: controlling the frequency of periodic motion of the drive apparatus; while the drive apparatus moves the conversion area of the colored-light generating apparatus to pass across the position illuminated by the excitation light, shutting off the light source or controlling the spatial light modulator to enter a non-projecting state. No light passes through the pixel shifting apparatus when it is changing states, thus it is prevented from affecting the contrast. Provided is a projection system, a light source system, and a light source assembly. The light source system () comprises an excitation light source (), a wavelength conversion device (), a color filtering device (), a drive device (), and a first optical assembly. The wavelength conversion device () comprises at least one wavelength conversion region. The optical filtering device () is fixed face-to-face with the wavelength conversion device (), and comprises at least a first optical filtering region. The drive device () drives the wavelength conversion device () and the optical filtering device (), allowing the wavelength conversion region and the first optical filtering region to act synchronously, and the wavelength conversion region is periodically set on the propagation path of the excitation light, thereby converting the excitation light wavelength into converted light. The first optical assembly allows the converted light to be incident on the first optical filtering region. The first optical filtering region filters the converted light, so as to enhance the color purity of the converted light. The light source system is simple in structure, easy to implement, and highly synchronous.

Brightening can be realized in low cost by means of adopting a light source comprising the optical-wavelength converting wheel component.
