Example implementations relate to dynamic wireless network selection. In some examples, a computing device may comprise a processing resource and a memory resource storing machine-readable instructions to determine a computing device is executing a number of applications, classify the number of applications, prioritize the number of applications based on the classification of the number of applications, determine at least one test from a plurality of tests to send to a network based on the prioritization of the applications, perform the at least one test from the plurality of tests, and determine a network adapter of the network to be used by the device based on the at least one test performed.

Example implementations relate to transmission power adjustments. For example, a system for transmission power adjustments may comprise a processing resource and a memory resource storing readable instructions to cause the processing resource to determine a network type for a wireless connection from a plurality of network types, and alter a transmission power for a transmitter based on the network type for the wireless connection.

In one example, a sink device includes a display unit, a mirroring unit to mirror a first display screen of a first source device and a second display screen of a second source device at the display unit via a wireless network, a communication interface unit to receive a first input indicating a selection of the first display screen and interpret the first input as a control command to dynamically establish a peer-to-peer connection between the sink device and the first source device via a short-range wireless network, and a control unit to control media content associated with the first source device via the short-range wireless network based on a first human interface device (HID) command received at the sink device.

A system and method are disclosed in which smart routing of a signal from a Wi-Fi device to an Access Point (AP) is performed by consulting a dynamic mesh network of measured path information between entities in a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN). The WLAN consists of at least two possible paths between the Wi-Fi device and the AP, and each path may include one or more sub-paths. The measured path information consists of Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI) and Quality Indication (QI) measurements. The dynamic mesh network is generated by APs performing beamforming operations with other APs in the WLAN and obtaining distinct RSSI and QI for each measured path. The measured RSSI and QI of each path, for both the 2.4 and 5.0 GHz bands, is added to the mesh network. Wi-Fi devices entering the WLAN consult the mesh network to determine the optimum connectivity path to the AP, thus avoiding routing through an unnecessary number of additional APs as well as APs with an already heavy payload.

In one example, a communication device is described, which includes at least one antenna and a wireless communication module communicatively coupled to the at least one antenna. The wireless communication module may include a processing unit to search another device within a signal range via the at least one antenna and establish a short-range wireless communication with the other device via a first radio frequency (RF) channel associated with a frequency band. Further, the processing unit may establish a long-range wireless communication with the other device via at least one second RF channel associated with the frequency band to transmit and receive data to and from the other device.

In an example, a computing device includes a microphone array, a first antenna, a second antenna, and a processor. The microphone array includes a first microphone and a second microphone that collectively produce a beam to collect an audio sample from an audio source. The first antenna and the second antenna are positioned in proximity to the microphone array and collectively produce a field of microwave radiation. The processor tracks a position of the audio source relative to the computing device using microwave image processing and steers a direction of the beam in response to the position of the audio source.

Examples of mirroring a screen between two devices include establishing a communication link by a sink device with a source device to mirror a screen of the source device on the sink device. Upon determining a same orientation of the source device for a specific time period, a display OFF command is sent to the source device. The display OFF command is indicative of turning OFF a backlight of the screen of the source device. Further, an event notification may be received by the sink device upon occurrence of an event at the source device. The event includes an incoming communication or a change in the orientation of the source device. In addition, in response to the event notification, a switch command is sent to the source device to pause the signal stream and to turn ON the backlight of the screen of the source device.

In one example, a computing device is disclosed, which includes a storage unit, a communication interface, and an authentication unit. The storage unit may store communication information corresponding to a wireless device. The communication information may include information used to establish communication between the wireless device and a user device. Further, the communication interface may receive a request to establish communication with the wireless device from the user device via a short-range wireless communication. Furthermore, the authentication unit may authenticate an access credential associated with the user device to access the wireless device and enable the storage unit to transmit the communication information associated with the wireless device to the user device upon successful authentication. The communication information is set up on the user device to establish communication with the wireless device.

In one example, an input pen to control an operation of a display is described, which may include a sensor to detect an input pen gesture, a communication interface to establish a connection with the display, and a controller to transmit a control signal corresponding to the detected input pen gesture to the display via the communication interface. The control signal may be used to retrieve a gesture command to manipulate data on the display.
