An edge computing-based method for fine determination of an urban traffic state includes the following steps: preprocessing lane-level data collected by edge nodes; dividing a complete road segment; computing an average delay per vehicle of a lane by using the edge nodes; inputting the preprocessed and computed data into a fuzzy logic model to determine a lane-level traffic state of an approach region; and based on the characteristic that edge nodes at the intersections can be interconnected, linking upstream and downstream intersection information to compute an average travel speed of a remaining road segment, and determining a traffic state of the remaining road segment.

Edge computing-based method for fine determination of urban traffic state

A computer-implemented hypervisor system and method comprises utilizing the hypervisor system, which comprises a privileged domain (PD) and a guest domain (GD). The PD is an instance of a virtual machine that has direct access to hardware devices. The PD comprises a back-end interface for communicating with other GDs. The GD is an instance of a virtual machine that does not have direct access to hardware devices, and comprises a front-end interface for communicating with the PD and communicates only packets with the PD. On the GD, and in an initialization stage of the front-end interface, the system allocates a predefined number of packet data entries for storing packet data, allocates the predefined number of grant table entries, each comprising a grant table id. During the initialization stage, each grant table entry is bound with a packet data entry.

Network performance optimization in a hypervisor-based system

In one embodiment, a system includes a processing circuit and logic integrated with and/or executable by the processing circuit that causes the processing circuit to receive a congestion notification message from a first virtual switch of a first server indicating that a first virtual machine (VM) hosted by the first server is overloaded. The logic also causes the processing circuit to advertise a congestion status of the first VM in a congestion status message to one or more virtual switches in a network in response to receiving the congestion notification message. Moreover, the logic causes the processing circuit to cause all virtual switches in the network except for the first virtual switch to stop sending traffic destined for the first VM while the first VM is overloaded without restricting sending traffic that is destined for other VMs hosted by the first server.

Virtual machine (VM)-to-VM flow control using congestion status messages for overlay networks

A PVLAN switch for connecting a PVLAN to a non-PVLAN device is configured as a primary VLAN with secondary VLANs, the primary VLAN includes promiscuous ports, each of the secondary VLANs includes a smart PVLAN trunk port, and the smart PVLAN trunk port is included in at least two secondary VLANs where the smart PVLAN trunk port and the promiscuous port connect to non-PVLAN devices. A frame is received on a smart PVLAN trunk port sent from a non-PVLAN device, and includes a destination address and a secondary VLAN ID. The PVLAN switch port ID for the first frame, and a primary VLAN ID for the secondary VLAN ID are identified. If the frame is a non-isolated port, the secondary VLAN ID is modified to be the primary VLAN ID, and the modified frame is sent to another non-PVLAN device connected to the PVLAN switch port.

In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, using a controller, a congestion notification message from a first virtual switch of a first server indicating that a first virtual machine (VM) hosted by the first server is overloaded, and advertising, using the controller, a congestion status of the first VM to one or more virtual switches in a network using a congestion status message in response to receiving the congestion notification message. In another embodiment, a method includes receiving, using a first virtual switch of a first server, a congestion status message from a controller indicating that a second VM hosted by a second server is overloaded, and stopping traffic that is destined for the second VM from being sent in response to receiving the congestion status message from the controller without restricting sending traffic that is destined for other VMs hosted by the second server.

A water-based cutting fluid that comprises water and a water-soluble polyalkylene glycol (PAG) having cloud point from 30&#xb0; C. to 80&#xb0; C. The cutting fluid is water-based, i.e., it comprises at least 50 percent by weight (wt %) water. The cutting fluids are well suited for use with diamond wiresaws for the cutting of silicon ingots. The fluids exhibit one or more of low hydrogen generation, no wafer cleaning issues, good lubricity, good cooling efficiency, good swarf suspension and dispersion, low foaming, are generally non-sensitive to metal ions, and are nonflammable.

A pre-fetching request is received by a server from a client. The pre-fetching request is performed to pre-fetch data from a data source connected to the server according to an indication of the pre-fetching request. The present invention discloses a process for preparing sildenafil and its intermediates having the structures outlined below:  In particular, the present invention provides a process for preparing the compound of formula (I) and its intermediates, i.e. the compounds of formula (I), (II), (III) and (IV). The compound of formula (I) is obtained from the compound of formula (II); the compound (II) is obtained from the compound of formula (III) and methylpiperazine; the compound (III) is obtained by treating the compound of formula (IV) with chlorosulfonic acid; the compound (IV) is obtained though treating the compound of formula (V) in the presence of at least one selected from POX, PX, PXand their mixtures in any ratio. The process for preparing the compound of formula (I) according to the present invention reduces the side reactions in the processes of the prior art. These improvements lead to higher yields and a better industrial applicability with easier controlling of the reaction.
