An image sensing apparatus, a black level correction method thereof, and a computer readable medium are provided. The image sensing apparatus comprises a pixel array and a black level correction circuit, and the pixel array comprises an optical black area and an active area. The black level correction circuit generates a black offset with respect to a pixel in the active area according to a plurality of reference black offsets with respect to a plurality of reference pixels which are neighboring the pixel and a ratio determined according to a current thermal noise information and a reference thermal noise information. The black level correction circuit generates a corrected pixel data of the pixel according to original pixel data of the pixel and the black offset.

A fingerprint enrollment method and a fingerprint enrollment apparatus are provided. A minutiae feature and a pore feature of a first fingerprint image are extracted to obtain a first template. A minutiae feature and a pore feature of a second fingerprint image are extracted to obtain a second template. A minutiae matching score between the minutiae features of the first template and the minutiae features of the second template is calculated. When the minutiae matching score is between the first threshold and a second threshold, stitching, mosaicking or synthesis of the first template and the second template are performed by utilizing a matching relation between the pore features of the first template and the pore features of the second template and utilizing the matching relation between the minutiae feature of the first template and the minutiae feature of the second template.

Fingerprint enrollment method and apparatus using the same

A method for generating masking image using general polygonal mask includes receiving a pixel of a raw image and a polygon vertices array corresponding to a polygonal mask, determining whether the pixel is inside the polygonal mask, labeling the pixel to be a masked pixel if the pixel is inside the polygonal mask, or labeling the pixel to be a visible pixel if the pixel is outside the polygonal mask, and outputting the masked pixel or the visible pixel to generate the masking image.
