A data transmitting apparatus, a data receiving apparatus and methods thereof are provided. The data transmitting apparatus includes an encoding module, an encoding table, a first encoding parameter, a second encoding parameter and a transmitting module. The encoding module reads and encodes data content containing at least one data unit. The encoding table records a variety of information of multiple data units, and the variety of information contain a unit content, a number of times encoded and a recorded position of each of the data units. The first encoding parameter provides first information of the data unit, and the first information relate to an existing state of the unit content of the data unit in the encoding table. The second encoding parameter provides second information, and the second information relate to an amount of data units currently recorded in the encoding table. The transmitting module transmits an encoded data.

A method for scheduling multiple periodic requests includes the following steps. The utilization rate of a processing unit is monitored. Multiple periodic requests are received, where the iperiodic request has an original period Pand an execution time b. The original period and the execution time of each periodic request are recorded. When the utilization rate of the processing unit exceeds an upper limit, the period of each periodic request is adjusted to be an updated period P', P&#x2032;=n&#x2033;+&#x394;, n is an integer greater than 1, qis an integer greater than 0, and &#x394; is an integer greater than or equal to 0. The periodic requests are scheduled according to the updated period of each periodic request and the execution time of each periodic request to obtain a scheduling result. The scheduling result is transmitted.

Method for scheduling multiple periodic requests and scheduling device

An adaptive handover method in a heterogeneous network environment collects estimation information for a channel environment and integrates with a wireless device's geographic information to decide two groups of recursive parameters and a channel theoretical signal model. The model and the first group of recursive parameters are used to execute recursive iteration for a signal strength decay theoretical value. The obtained actual signal strength decay value from channel estimation, the second group of recursive parameters and the signal strength decay estimation value at previous iteration are used to execute channel-tracking recursive iteration for obtaining a signal strength decay tracking value. The current network status and the signal strength decay tracking value are used to predict and analyze system performance of heterogeneous networks. A decision is made based on each heterogeneous network's analyzed result, and an adaptive handover procedure is prepared by following the decision.

Adaptive handover apparatus and method in a heterogeneous network environment

A multimedia data sharing system and method for a MOST network is disclosed. The system provides a service management module, a data link control module, and a protocol conversion module. The service management module provides state analysis and management for all services of the multimedia data sharing system and records analyzed service states and configuration results in a service management list. The data link control module performs a control and management process for system data streams based on information stored in the service management list. The protocol conversion module retrieves data from a channel register, based on the information stored in the service management list, to perform a MOST link management operation and implements a packaged or an unpackaged operation to data packets for access of the MOST network.

Multimedia data sharing system and method for MOST network

An apparatus and method estimates the adaptive wireless channel for a moving vehicle. Once a packet is received, this invention analyzes a channel interference index for the moving vehicle, and computes a first recursive parameter, a second recursive parameter and an interpolation number. Based on the first recursive parameter and the interpolation number, partial channel information is calculated for further channel estimation by using an interpolation. The parameter of an equalizer is also immediately updated. Cooperating with a decision feedback scheme and based on the second recursive parameter, channel tracking is performed. In order to achieve the adaptive channel estimation for wireless access on the time-variant vehicle environment, the parameter for the algorithm for performing the channel estimation is adjusted.
