A riser bracket assembly for supporting at least one expansion card horizontally over a motherboard is disclosed. The riser bracket assembly may support different types of expansion cards. The assembly includes a first component half having a registration feature to mate with a first type of riser board. A second component half is attachable to the first component half. The second component half has a registration feature to mate with a second type of riser board. A riser board has an edge connector insertable into a socket on the motherboard. The riser board includes an expansion card connector connectable to the at least one expansion card. The riser board supports either the first component half or the second component half.

Removable combined PCIe riser bracket for computing device

A compact expansion card riser assembly for connection of two expansion cards to horizontally oriented circuit board is disclosed. The riser assembly includes a support bracket, a first horizontal riser board, and a second horizontal riser board. The first horizontal riser board has an expansion card connector. The first horizontal riser is attached to the support bracket. The support bracket and first horizontal riser board support a horizontally oriented expansion card. The second horizontal riser board has an expansion card connector. The second horizontal riser is attached to the support bracket. The support bracket and second horizontal riser board support a horizontally oriented expansion card.

Low height PCIe riser bracket for computing device

A flap for a cage for holding electronic devices in a computing system is disclosed. The flap includes a main segment, a first vertical extension, a second vertical extension, a lateral ledge, and a tapered ledge. The first vertical extension and the second vertical extension extend from a first side of the main segment. The lateral ledge extends from a third side of the main segment. The tapered extensions extend from a second side of the main segment and include a flat section and an angled section. The flap has a deployed position and a stored position in the cage. The flap engages with at least two sides of the cage in the deployed or the stored position. The flap may be in the stored position when an electronic component is present. The flap blocks airflow through the cage in the deployed position.

Removable fan flapper design

A cable holder for retaining cables in a system sled is disclosed. The cable holder includes a base bracket, a clip holder, a retention clip, and a releasable latch. The base bracket is couplable to the system sled. The clip holder is coupled to the base bracket via a hinge. The clip holder is configured to rotate relative to the base bracket, and around a rotational axis through the hinge between a first lowered position proximate to the system sled and a second raised position substantially distal from the system sled. The retention clip is coupled to the clip holder, and configured to retain a portion of the cables in the system sled. The releasable latch is operable to lock the clip holder into either the first lowered position or the second raised position.

Rotatable cable holder module

An apparatus for securing multiple cards on a chassis includes a securing member, a support bracket, and at least one hinge. The at least one hinge is configured to hold the securing member to the support bracket such that the securing member has an axis of rotation about the support bracket. The spacing between the securing member and the support bracket is configured to hold a section of the multiple cards.
