Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for communicating channel state information (CSI) reports. In some aspects, downlink resources can be monitored for reception of downlink signaling, a CSI report can be generated based on the reception of the downlink signaling, where the CSI report indicates CSI for each of multiple sub-bands of the downlink resources, and the CSI report can be transmitted with hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement or negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) feedback associated with the downlink signaling to facilitate retransmission with improved block error rate (BLER). In some aspects, a base station receiving the CSI report, or otherwise based on uplink signals, can determine transmission parameters for retransmission to facilitate the improved BLER.

Techniques for providing channel quality feedback for enhanced reliability in wireless communications

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of conflict conditions for identification of conflicts between uplink feedback messages and a communication frame structure, and may receive a downlink message within a set of semi-persistent downlink resources. The downlink message may be associated with a first uplink resource for transmitting a feedback for the downlink message, where the first uplink resource is included within a subband full-duplex (SBFD) slot that includes one or more uplink subbands. The UE may then transmit the feedback message via the first uplink resource or a second uplink resource that is deferred relative to the first uplink resource based on whether feedback deferral for the downlink message is triggered in accordance with the one or more conflict conditions the second uplink resource is included within a second slot that is subsequent to the subband full-duplex slot.

Techniques for hybrid automatic repeat request deferral in full-duplex

Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating HARQ feedback multiplexing on PUSCH with repetitions are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a UE includes receiving an uplink grant scheduling an uplink transmission associated with a repetition quantity, the uplink grant including a bit indicator. The example method also includes transmitting a first repetition of the uplink transmission. The first repetition may include multiplexing of a quantity of HARQ-ACK feedback bits HARQ-ACK feedback for a PDSCH scheduled by a downlink grant, and the quantity of the HARQ-ACK feedback bits may be based on the bit indicator. The first repetition and the HARQ-ACK feedback may overlap in a time domain.

Techniques to enhance HARQ-ACK multiplexing on PUSCH with repetitions

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a transport block (TB). The UE may fail to successfully decode the TB. The UE may transmit a negative acknowledgement (NACK) message based at least in part on the failing to successfully decode the TB. The NACK message may indicate a quantity of repetitions for retransmitting the TB. Numerous other aspects are described.

A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a configured grant for an uplink transmission occasion including a number of transport blocks (TBs). The configured grant indicates a first modulation and coding scheme (MCS) and a first quantity of layers for a first of the TBs, and a second MCS and a second quantity of layers for a second of the TBs. The method also includes selecting the first TB and/or the second TB for an uplink transmission based on an amount of data stored in an uplink buffer. The method further includes transmitting the data in the first TB and/or the second TB that was selected.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may perform communications between the UE and a base station based at least in part on a set of semi-persistent resource occasions. The UE may receive a downlink control information releasing the set of semi-persistent resource occasions. The UE may determine a release time to release the set of semi-persistent resource occasions, wherein the release time for releasing the set of semi-persistent resource occasions is with respect to a receive time of the downlink control information. The UE may release the set of semi-persistent resource occasions at the release time based at least in part on the downlink control information.

An apparatus for receiving wireless communication at a first UE from a first wireless device may include a memory and at least one processor coupled to the memory. The memory and the at least one processor may be configured to receive a user grouping identifying a second UE that communicates with a second wireless device. The memory and the at least one processor may be further configured to receive a control transmission between the second UE and the second wireless device indicating a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) and allocated resources for the second wireless device. The memory and the at least one processor may be further configured to apply interference cancellation on at least one of a resource element (RE) or a resource block (RB) received from the first wireless device based on the MCS and allocated resources for the second wireless device.

Transmission coordination to mitigate interference

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Feedback information associated with decoding downlink information may be reported in a first stage and a second stage. A size of the second stage may be restricted by an upper limit associated with an available set of uplink resources for transmitting the feedback information. Limiting the size of the second stage may include reducing a size of second information generated for the second stage, yielding third information for the second stage. The third information may be transmitted with first information generated for the first stage. Limiting the size of the second stage may also include generating second information having a reduced size based on determining that the upper limit may be exceeded. The reduced-size second information may be transmitted with the first information.

Two-stage feedback procedures

A UE initiates a PUSCH transmission determination procedure if at least one of a first PUSCH overlaps with a second PUSCH in a transmission and a first PUCCH overlaps with the first PUSCH or the second PUSCH, or if the first PUCCH overlaps with at least one of the first PUSCH or the second PUSCH in the transmission and the first PUSCH and the second PUSCH are not overlapped with each other, the first PUSCH and the second PUSCH being associated with different uplink priorities. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving signaling configuring a first cell with physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources, configuring a second cell with PUCCH resources, and configuring at least one of the first cell or the second cell for subslot-based hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgment (HARQ-ACK) reporting, receiving a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), selecting, based on target PUCCH cell switching information, the first cell or the second cell as a target PUCCH cell for transmitting a PUCCH with HARQ-ACK feedback for the PDCCH or a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) scheduled by the PDCCH, and transmitting the PUCCH with the HARQ-ACK feedback in a subslot or slot on the target PUCCH cell, in accordance with the selection.

Control channel carrier switching for subslot-based cells

A user equipment maps a high priority hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgment/negative acknowledgment (HARQ-ACK/NACK) information to one or more resource elements (REs), and maps one or more of a low priority HARQ-ACK/NACK information, channel state information (CSI), or uplink-shared channel (UL-SCH) data to REs while rate matching around the mapped high priority HARQ-ACK/NACK REs. A network entity receives an uplink transmission, including high and low priority HARQ-ACK/NACK information, CSI, and UL-SCH data mapped to high and low priority HARQ-ACK/NACK REs, CSI REs, and UL-SCH REs, respectively. The low priority HARQ-ACK/NACK REs, the CSI REs, and the UL-SCH REs are rate matched around the high priority HARQ-ACK/N ACK REs. The network entity demaps and decodes the REs of the high and low priority HARQ-ACK/NACK, the CSI, and UL-SCH to obtain the high and low priority HARQ-ACK/NACK information, CSI, and UL-SCH data.

In some examples, the first device may transmit, to a second device, an indication of one or more an energy conversion efficiency factors, power threshold parameters, power levels, battery power levels, or the like. Based on receiving the indication of the one or more of the characteristics, the second device may determine a radio frequency power for subsequent signaling. The second device may transmit a signal having the determined radio frequency power, and the first device may receive the signaling and convert at least a first portion of the radio frequency power to direct current (DC) power.

The UE encodes a first uplink control information (UCI) payload of a first priority level to generate a first codeword. The UE modifies the first codeword based on a second UCI payload, wherein information about the second UCI payload is conveyed via a modification of the first codeword. The UE transmits an uplink channel comprising the first codeword and carrying information for the second UCI payload. A base station receives an uplink channel from the UE, comprising a first codeword for a first UCI payload having a first priority level and having a modification that conveys information for a second UCI payload having a second priority level. The base station decodes the second UCI payload based at least in part on the information conveyed based on the modification.
