An electrical connector is provided, including an insulating body, multiple terminals, and a metallic plate. The insulating body has a base portion and a tongue portion. The terminals are disposed at the insulating body and extending from the base portion to the tongue portion, respectively. Portions of the terminals exposed from the tongue portion are configured to be mated with terminals of another electrical connector. The metallic plate is disposed in the insulating body. The terminals are divided into two groups by the metallic plate. The metallic plate has at least one strip connecting portion, and the strip connecting portion exposes at the base portion of the insulating body.

Electrical connector

An electrical connector configured to be assembled to a circuit board is provided. The electrical connector includes an insulating body having a base and a tongue, a plurality of terminals disposed in the insulating body, a first metal shell covering the insulating body, and a second metal shell covering the insulating body and the first metal shell. The first metal shell has a plurality of soldering feet soldered to the circuit board, and the second metal shell has a plurality of second metal pin soldered to the circuit board. The first and the second metal pin are beside the base and away from the tongue. At least one of the first metal shell and the insulating body has a supporting portion abutting against a non-conducting portion of the circuit board. The supporting portion is close to the tongue and away from the base.

An electrical connector including an insulating body, a plurality of terminals disposed in the insulating body, a first metallic shell enclosing the insulating body to form an interface for being plugged by another electrical connector, and a second metallic shell is provided. The first metallic shell has a first soldering leg close to the interface, and the second metallic shell encloses the first metallic shell, wherein the first soldering leg extends away from the insulating body, penetrates the second metallic shell and protrudes out of the second metallic shell.
