A Projected Capacitive (PCAP) display including multiple arrays of conductive electrodes performs a dual function. In a first function, the PCAP display uses the conductive electrode arrays to generate an electrostatic field and determines the presence and position of a conductive object based on small changes it detects in the capacitance of that electrostatic field. In a second function, the PCAP display uses the same conductive electrode arrays to generate a magnetic field. As a user swipes the card across the surface of the PCAP display, it causes small changes in the generated magnetic field. The PCAP display retrieves the data magnetically encoded onto the magnetic stripe card based on the changes it detects in the magnetic field.

Touch sensitive payment vehicle detection system

A computing device permits distribution of power received from an external power source to one or more subsystems of the computing device. The computing device receives input requesting a power control operation and, responsive to the input, interrupts the distribution of the power to at least one of the subsystems.

Power control in a computing device

A lid opening structure and a physiological detection device are provided. The lid opening structure is adapted for the physiological detection device and for being mounted on a lid body of a container. The lid body includes a flange portion and a pivot portion. The lid opening structure includes a first cover portion disposed on a side corresponding to the flange portion and having an engaging portion for clamping the flange portion, and a second cover portion disposed on a side corresponding to the pivot portion. When applying a force on the first cover portion along a lid opening direction, the physiological detection device is fixed on the lid body by stopping the force applied along the lid opening direction by the second cover portion, and the lid body of the container is opened. The combined use of the container and the physiological detection device increases the convenience of use.

An ejection structure includes a connector and an ejection element. The connector includes an opening and an ejection guiding groove for ejecting. The opening is received a biosensor test strip. The ejection guiding groove is disposed on a side of the connector and a front end of the guiding groove is communicating with the opening for receiving the biosensor test strip. The ejection element is assembled in the ejection guiding groove and comprises an actuating part used for contacting the biosensor test strip then ejecting the biosensor test strip along the ejection guiding groove from a rear end to the front end. Therefore, it omits extra assembled elements and simplifies the ejection structure so as to enhance the smoothness of the ejection mechanism.

A nebulizer and a nozzle thereof are provided. The nozzle has a containing seat and a cover. The containing seat has an air conduit. The air conduit has an input terminal and an output terminal. The cover has a guiding channel and an impediment. An input opening is formed in the nozzle for introducing air. A first opening of the guiding channel is disposed near the output terminal and the input opening is disposed far of the output terminal. The impediment is disposed in front of the output terminal and has a plane. Air emitted from the output terminal lashes the plane and then flows to a second opening of the guiding channel, and the air of the input opening is guided to the first opening for decreasing a whole resistance of the nozzle, and thereby increasing nebulization efficiency.

Nebulizer and nozzle thereof

The present invention related to an injector is provided. The injector includes a case body, a dose setting, a first engagement, a second engagement, an elasticity element, and a button. The dose setting is used to preset a dose. The first engagement is connected with the dose setting. The elasticity element is connected between the first engagement and the second engagement. When the elasticity element is in an extension state, the first engagement and the second engagement are separated. When the button is pushed, the elasticity element is entered into a compress state to combine the first engagement and the second engagement, and then push the dose setting.

Injector

A rate control method of perceptual-based rate-distortion (R-D) optimized bit allocation is disclosed. An input frame is firstly determined as a key frame or non-key frame. A key frame is additionally encoded to generate rate-distortion (R-D) points. The R-D model of each basic unit (BU) is updated, followed by perceptual-based bit allocation, thereby generating a target bit rate. A quantization parameter (QP) is computed according to the target bit rate, and the current BU is encoded according to the QP. A rate-quantization (R-Q) model is updated if not all BUs have been encoded.

The present invention related to a connector which is used in a biosensing meter and receives an insertion, comprising a body and a plurality of terminal components. The plurality of terminals arranged all around and face to face, thereby reducing the volume of the connector. Furthermore, the plurality of terminal respectively contact the insertion equally thereby increasing the transmissible accuracy and the determination accuracy. The connector can further comprise a sliding base connected with the body for ejecting the insertion, whereby the invented connector can achieve multi-functional goal.

An ear cap supplying device, an ear cap and an ear cap set are provided. The ear cap supplying device includes a movable containing device and an output device. The movable containing device is used for containing at least one ear cap. The output device is used for exporting the ear cap(s). When the movable containing device is moved to a predetermined position, the movable containing device activizes the output device to export the ear cap(s). Whereby, problem that the ear cap(s) is/are obstructed during exporting process can be improved.

A perceptual-based video coding method provides a perceptual-based rate-distortion (R-D) curve as a predictive R-D curve. The Lagrange multiplier for a current frame is then determined by deciding a slope, with sign reversed, of a tangent to the predictive R-D curve at a current point that is on the predictive R-D curve and closest to a previous R-D point of a previous encoded frame. The current frame is then encoded according to the determined Lagrange multiplier.

Perceptual-based video coding method

A method for adjusting an operation frequency and checking an operating state of the ultrasonic nebulizer is related in the present invention. By detecting the current to determine a resonance frequency and whether deviated from a predetermined normal range, the nebulizer can check the operating state and operate at the resonance frequency for increasing efficiency and saving power.

The present invention related to an ultrasonic nebulizer apparatus and a method for adjusting an operation frequency and checking an operating state of the ultrasonic nebulizer apparatus. The apparatus according to the present invention comprises a current detecting element for actively detecting an electrical current passed through it early. By detecting the current to determine a resonance frequency and whether deviated from a predetermined normal range, the nebulizer apparatus according to the present invention can check the operating state and operate at the resonance frequency for increasing efficiency and saving power.
