A touch panel and a touch display device are disclosed, in which the touch panel includes a substrate, a touch component layer and a shielding-electrode film. The substrate has a surface. The touch component layer is disposed on the surface of the substrate and includes a metallic layer, an electrode layer, a protection layer and a hard coat layer. The protection layer is disposed between the metallic layer and the electrode layer. The hard coat layer at least covers the metallic layer and the electrode layer. The shielding-electrode film is disposed on the hard coat layer of the touch component layer, wherein the touch component layer is located between the substrate and the shielding-electrode film, and a resistance of the shielding-electrode film is greater than a resistance of the electrode layer.

Touch panel and touch display device

An embodiment of this invention provides a touch panel, which comprises a touch screen and a display. The touch screen comprises a patterned, transparent first conductive layer comprising a sensing pattern and a shielding pattern. The touch panel features in that the touch screen employs the sensing pattern as a sensing layer, and the display employs the shielding pattern as an electrostatic protection layer.

Touch panel

A touch display device and a formation method thereof are provided. The touch display device includes a touch panel disposed on a first surface of a substrate of a display panel. A color filter layer is disposed on a second surface of the substrate. The touch panel includes a plurality of first and second conductive patterns arranged by two directions that are perpendicular to each other. A patterned isolation layer, having a first portion and a second portion, is formed over the first surface of the substrate, wherein the first portion is disposed at the intersection of the first and the second conductive patterns, and the second portion is disposed between the first and the second conductive patterns. The first portion has a height that is lower than a height of the second portion.

Touch display devices and formation methods thereof

A touch panel is provided. The touch panel having a pixel area and a sensing area includes a first substrate and an opposite second substrate. A press sensing spacer is disposed on the sensing area of the first substrate. A press sensing stage is disposed on the sensing area of the second substrate, corresponding to the press sensing spacer. An alignment layer is disposed over the second substrate, covering the press sensing stage and the pixel area of the second substrate. In an embodiment, the height of the press sensing stage is greater than the height from the surface of the second substrate at the pixel area to the bottom of the alignment layer by at least 0.05 &#x3bc;m.

A photo element includes a capacitor, a switch thin film transistor (TFT), a charge thin film transistor, and a photo thin film transistor. A voltage is charged to the capacitor through the charge TFT, and the output voltage of the capacitor is read through the readout line. The photo-induced current will affect the output voltage of the capacitor; therefore it is employed to determine whether the photo element is touched. Later, a reverse-biased voltage is applied to the photo TFT, such that the threshold voltage and sensitivity of the photo TFT can be maintained.

Photo element and driving method thereof and liquid crystal display

Embodiments of the present invention employ resistance compensation to broaden voltage reading range of readout lines connected to a processing chip of an in cell touch panel. The resolution of the in cell touch panel is increased under the condition that the number of pins of the processing chip is not increased or is unchanged.
