A computer enclosure includes a chassis, a top cover pivotally mounted to the chassis, a side cover pivotally mounted on the chassis, a pair of springs, and a locating member slidably mounted to the side cover. The top cover is formed to have at least one catch thereon. The side cover, the chassis, and the top cover configure a receiving space for accommodating other components. The locating member defines at least one latching opening therein for engaging with the catch. When the top cover is pivoted downward, the catch of the top cover engages in the latching opening of the locating member firmly, thereby interlocking the top cover and the side cover detachably.

An assembly for securing plates includes a first plate having two pairs of protruding portions, and a second plate having two tongue pieces at opposite ends thereof. Each of the protruding portions has a first guiding surface and a second guiding surface intersecting with the first guiding surface for the tongue piece sliding thereon. The tongue pieces firstly slide downwardly along the first guiding surfaces of the pair of protruding portions and are then clamped between the corresponding protruding portions, thereby detachably securing the second plate to the first plate.

The shield forms a plurality of hooks () and a rivet (). The hooks extend through the wide portions of the slits, then slide to the narrow portions to engage with the panel. And the rivet extends through the hole to be riveted to the panel to firmly secure the shield with the connector to the panel.
