Provided is a chemical mechanical polishing process. The process includes the following steps: a layer to be polished is provided, wherein the layer to be polished has a hole, a trench and/or an opening formed therein, and a protrusion is formed at the corner of the top of the hole, the trench and/or the opening; a polishing pad with a plurality of fibers on the surface thereof is provided; and in a moving direction perpendicular to the top surface of the layer to be polished, the plurality of fibers of the polishing pad are intermittently contacted with the protrusion in the presence of an abrasive-free slurry.

Chemical mechanical polishing process

A three-in-one tooth-cleaning device structured as a toothpick, an interdental brush, and a floss pick includes a main body and an interdental elastic-bristle portion. The main body is integrally formed of a first plasticized material by injection molding and is structured as a floss pick at one end and as a toothpick at the opposite second end. The interdental elastic-bristle portion is integrally formed by injection molding a second plasticized material over the periphery of the main body in a section adjacent to the second end of the main body and forms a plurality of bristles. The second plasticized material has a lower hardness than the first plasticized material. The three-in-one tooth-cleaning device can be carried around to perform diversified, thorough, and effective removing operations on the dental plaque or food debris on and/or between teeth anytime and anywhere to prevent dental caries (especially interdental caries) and periodontal disease.

A method for manufacturing a non-volatile memory device is provided. The method includes the following steps. A plurality of isolation structures are formed in a substrate, and a depression region is formed between two adjacent isolation structures. A conductive layer and a sacrificial layer are conformally formed on the isolation structures and the substrate. The sacrificial layer in the depression region defines a recess part. A first CMP process is performed to partially remove the sacrificial layer and to expose the conductive layer on the isolation structures. A second CMP process is performed to partially remove conductive layer, and to expose top surfaces of the isolation structures. A third CMP process is performed to remove the sacrificial layer completely. A top surface of the conductive layer is level with a top surface of the isolation structure after the third CMP process.

Method for manufacturing non-volatile memory device

A resistive memory, a manufacturing method thereof, and a chemical mechanical polishing process are provided. The resistive memory includes a first electrode, a variable resistance layer, and a second electrode. The first electrode is disposed on a substrate. The variable resistance layer is disposed on the first electrode. The second electrode is disposed on the variable resistance layer. The first electrode includes a first Ti layer, a Ti oxide layer, and a conductive layer sequentially disposed on the substrate.

A method for manufacturing an electrode including the following steps is provided. A conductive layer is formed on a base material. A radio frequency physical vapor deposition (RF PVD) transition metal compound layer is formed on the conductive layer by using a RF PVD. A sacrificial layer is formed on the RF PVD transition metal compound layer. A planarization process is performed to remove the sacrificial layer and a portion of the RF PVD transition metal compound layer.

The control unit is disposed for controlling a moving speed of a needle bar of the driving unit corresponding to the rotational speed of the track ball.

The method includes: obtaining a glint-free image including a pupil; generating a gradient magnitude graph and a gradient orientation graph based on the glint-free image; sifting a plurality of first pixels from the gradient magnitude graph, and finding a plurality of second pixels corresponding to the plurality of first pixels in the gradient orientation graph; taking a negative gradient orientation to each of the second pixels to generate a gradient emission graph including a plurality of emissions; defining a center of the pupil in the glint-free image based on the plurality of emissions in the gradient emission graph.
