A micro light-emitting diode includes a first stacked layer, a second stacked layer, a third stacked layer, a bonding layer, at least one etch stop layer, and a plurality of electrodes. The second stacked layer is disposed between the first stacked layer and the third stacked layer. The first stacked layer includes a first active layer. The second stacked layer includes a second active layer. The third stacked layer includes a third active layer. The bonding layer is disposed between the second stacked layer and the third stacked layer. The at least one etch stop layer is at least disposed between the first active layer and the second active layer. The plurality of electrodes are respectively electrically connected with the first stacked layer, the second stacked layer, and the third stacked layer. At least one electrode of the plurality of electrodes contacts the etch stop layer.

Micro light-emitting diode

A micro light emitting device display apparatus including a substrate, a plurality of micro light emitting devices, an isolation layer, and at least one first air gap is provided. The substrate has a plurality of connection pads. The micro light emitting devices are discretely disposed on the substrate. The isolation layer is disposed between the substrate and each of the micro light emitting devices. The at least one first air gap is disposed between the substrate and a surface of the isolation layer facing the substrate.

Micro light emitting device display apparatus

A micro-electronic element transfer apparatus including a first conveyer portion, a second conveyer portion, and a light source device is provided. The first conveyer portion is configured to output a plurality of micro-electronic elements. The second conveyer portion includes a first rolling component and a substrate. The substrate is disposed on the first rolling component and is moved through rolling of the first rolling component. A plurality of bumps are disposed on the substrate. The light source device is configured to irradiate the bumps for heating, and the bumps generate a phase transition. When the micro-electronic elements are outputted from the first conveyer portion, a connection force between the micro-electronic elements and the first conveyer portion is less than a connection force between the micro-electronic elements and the bumps. The micro-electronic elements are respectively bonded to the bumps. A micro-electronic element transfer method is also provided.

Micro-electronic element transfer method

A display apparatus including at least one driving circuit board, a plurality of light-emitting units, and a light-shielding layer is provided. The light-emitting units are disposed on a surface of the at least one driving circuit board and respectively have a plurality of pixel areas. The light-shielding layer is disposed on the at least one driving circuit board and disposed between the light-emitting units. The light-emitting units each have a circuit layer and a plurality of micro light-emitting devices. The circuit layer is electrically bonded to one of the at least one driving circuit board. The plurality of micro light-emitting devices are disposed on a side of the circuit layer away from the at least one driving circuit board and electrically bonded to the circuit layer. The micro light-emitting devices are respectively located in the pixel areas. A method of fabricating the display apparatus is also provided.

The micro light-emitting diode includes a first-type semiconductor layer having a first doping type; a light-emitting layer over the first-type semiconductor layer; a first-type electrode over the first-type semiconductor layer; a second-type semiconductor layer having a second doping type over the light-emitting layer, wherein the second doping type is different from the first doping type; a second-type electrode over the second-type semiconductor layer; and a barrier layer under the first-type semiconductor layer and away from the first-type electrode and the second-type electrode, wherein the barrier layer includes a doped region having the second doping type.

A transparent display panel with a light-transmitting substrate, a plurality of top-emitting micro light emitting diodes, a plurality of bottom-emitting micro light emitting diodes, and a light shielding layer. The light transmissive substrate has a surface. These top-emitting micro light emitting diodes and these bottom-emitting micro light emitting diodes are disposed on the surface of the light transmissive substrate. The bottom-emitting micro light emitting diodes has an epitaxial structure and a light shielding member, the epitaxial structure has a pair of upper and lower surfaces on the opposite sides, the lower surface faces toward the light transmissive substrate, and the light shielding member is disposed on the upper surface to shield the light emitted by the bottom-emitting micro light emitting diodes towards the upper surface.

Transparent display panel

A micro LED display device includes a substrate, micro LED units and a transparent insulation layer. The substrate includes conductive pads and conductive connecting portions. The conductive pads are disposed on the substrate. Each of the micro LED units includes a semiconductor epitaxial structure and electrodes. The electrodes are disposed on the semiconductor epitaxial structure, and each of the electrodes is connected to one of the conductive connecting portions adjacent to each other. The transparent insulation layer is disposed on the substrate and covers the conductive pads, the conductive connecting portions and the micro LED units, and the transparent insulation layer is filled between the electrodes of each of the micro LED units. The transparent insulation layer relative to a surface on each of the semiconductor epitaxial structures is of a first thickness and a second thickness, and the first thickness is different from the second thickness.

Micro LED display device and manufacturing method thereof

A micro LED display device includes a micro light emitting unit, a conductive structure and a substrate. The micro light emitting unit includes a plurality of micro light emitting elements, and each of the micro light emitting elements includes a semiconductor structure and an electrode structure. The semiconductor structure includes a first type semiconductor layer, a light emitting layer and a second type semiconductor layer. The electrode structure includes a first type electrode and a second type electrode. The conductive structure includes a first type conductive layer and a second type conductive layer. The first type conductive layer is electrically connected to the first type electrode, and the second type conductive layer is electrically connected to the second type electrode. The micro light emitting unit is disposed on the substrate, and the electrode structure is disposed toward the substrate and includes a gap therebetween.

A micro semiconductor structure includes a substrate, a dissociative layer, a protective layer and a micro semiconductor. The dissociative layer is located on one side of the substrate. The protective layer is located on at least one side of the substrate. The micro semiconductor is located on the side of the substrate. The transmittance of the protective layer for a light source with wavelength smaller than 360 nm is less than 20%.

A micro light-emitting device, including a first type semiconductor layer, a light-emitting layer, a second type semiconductor layer, a first type electrode, a second type electrode, and a light reflection layer, is provided. The light-emitting layer is arranged on the first type semiconductor layer. The second type semiconductor layer is arranged on the light-emitting layer. The first type electrode and the second type electrode are both arranged on the second type semiconductor layer. The light reflection layer is arranged between the light-emitting layer and the first type electrode. The light reflection layer includes an oxidized area and a non-oxidized area. A reflectance of the oxidized area is greater than a reflectance of the non-oxidized area. An orthographic projection of a part of the oxidized area on the first type semiconductor layer and an orthographic projection of the first type electrode on the first type semiconductor layer at least partially overlap.

Micro light-emitting device

A micro LED display device including a display substrate, a plurality of conductive pad pairs and a plurality of micro light emitting elements is provided. The display substrate has a first arranging area, a splicing area connected to the first arranging area, and a second arranging area connected to the splicing area, wherein the splicing area is located between the first arranging area and the second arranging area. The conductive pad pairs are disposed on the display substrate in an array with the same pitch. The micro light emitting elements are disposed on the display substrate and are electrically bonded to the conductive pad pairs. A micro light-emitting device display apparatus includes a circuit substrate, at least one micro light-emitting device, and at least one conductive bump. The circuit substrate includes at least one pad. The micro light-emitting device is disposed on the circuit substrate and includes at least one electrode. At least one of the pad and the electrode has at least one closed opening. The conductive bump is disposed between the circuit substrate and the micro light-emitting device. The conductive bump extends into the closed opening and defines at least one void with the closed opening. Wherein each micro light emitting unit defines a luminating top surface, and a reference angle is defined between each luminating top surface and a reference plane respectively. Wherein the reference angle defined between each luminating top surface and the reference plane gradually decreases from the first position to the second position, and the luminating top surface of the micro light emitting unit located at the second position is parallel to the reference surface.
