An image blending system and a method for image blending are provided. The image blending system includes a plurality of projection devices, an image capturing device, a blending device, a video input module, and a computing module. The projection devices project a desired image. The image capturing device is configured for image capturing from a projection surface. The captured image has an image capturing coordinate system based on a resolution of the captured image. The projection devices receive an input video signal transmitted from the blending device for projection, and the input video signal has an input video coordinate system based on a resolution of the input video signal. The computing module calculates for obtaining a plurality of mapping relationships according to the image capturing coordinate system and the input video coordinate system, and obtaining an image blending relationship through the mapping relationships and an overlapping area of projection regions.

A decoder, a projecting system, and a method for processing an image thereof are provided. The decoder is adapted to the projecting system having a projecting module and a shutter glass. The decoder includes a decoding circuit and an indicating unit. The projecting module outputs a frame turning control signal to the shutter glass. The decoding circuit receives and decodes a three-dimensional (3D) video signal to produce a first image data and a second image data to the projecting module. The indicating unit is coupled to the decoding circuit and correspondingly produces an indicating signal when the decoding circuit outputs one of the first image data and the second image data.

Decoder, projecting system, and method for processing image thereof

Playback control methods and systems are provided. At least one picture is obtained. The picture corresponds to a frame, and the picture includes a first region and a second region adjacent to the first region. It is determined whether at least one pixel in the first region has a predefined color, and whether at least one pixel in the second region has the predefined color. When the pixel in the first region has the predefined color and the pixel in the second region does not have the predefined color, the first region is removed, and the second region is enlarged to cover an original position of the first region. The enlarged second region is then played back via an anamorphic lens.

Playback control methods and systems

A projection apparatus including an illumination system, a light valve, and a color filtering module is provided. The illumination system is capable of emitting an illumination beam. The light valve is disposed in the transmission path of the illumination beam and capable of converting the illumination beam into an image beam. The color filtering module is disposed in the transmission path of the illumination beam between the illumination system and the light valve and includes a plurality of colored filters and a gray filter. The gray filter is capable of reducing the intensity of the illumination beam passing through the gray filter. An image adjustment method is also provided.
