A method for predicting clinical severity of a neurological disorder includes steps of: a) identifying, according to a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) image of a brain, brain image regions each of which contains a respective portion of diffusion index values of a diffusion index, which results from image processing performed on the MRI image; b) for one of the brain image regions, calculating a characteristic parameter based on the respective portion of the diffusion index values; and c) calculating a severity score that represents the clinical severity of the neurological disorder of the brain based on the characteristic parameter of the one of the brain image regions via a prediction model associated with the neurological disorder.

Disclosed herein is a method for diagnosing a neurological disorder based on at least one magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) image. The method includes identifying brain image regions that contain a respective portion of diffusion index values of at least one diffusion index. For each of the brain image regions, a characteristic parameter based on the respective portion of the diffusion index values is calculated. a diagnoses is then made for the brain using one of predetermined categories of the neurological disorder by performing classification on a combination of the characteristic parameters via a classifier.

An information display board with improved display performance by light-extending light sources is revealed. The information display board includes a display board and a plurality of light-extending light sources each of which consists of a light emitting diode (LED) and a reflective panel. The LED has a light emitting side and a backside while the reflective panel is disposed on the light emitting side of the LED for reflecting a part of light emitted from the light emitting side to the display board on the backside to form an expanded area. Thus illuminance and illuminated area of information shown on the display board are increased. The switchable resonant antenna comprises a first connection portion, a switching unit, a first metal element and a second metal element, where the first connection portion is electrically coupled between the ground plane and the switching unit, the switching unit is configured to electrically couple the first connection portion to the first metal element or the second metal element according to a control signal generated corresponding to a detecting result, in order to generate a first resonant mode.

A mobile device having a periphery and including a substrate, a feeding line, and a resonance element is provided. The substrate has a ground plane and the feeding line is disposed on the substrate. A handheld device includes an antenna area and an outer frame, wherein the outer frame includes a frame body and a carrier. The antenna area is for transmitting a radio frequency signal with a first wavelength and has a ground part and a feeding part. In addition, the ground part within the antenna area is electrically connected to a ground plane. The frame body of the outer frame has an extended area corresponding to the antenna area to form a projected feeding point. The carrier of the outer frame is disposed at the peripheral area of the opening of the frame body, wherein the peripheral area of the frame body has a first ground point electrically connected to the ground plane, and the spacing between the first ground point and the projected feeding point is correlated to the first wavelength.

In a capacitance sensing analog circuit of a touch panel sensing circuit, by raising a magnitude of a current flowing through a sensing capacitor to form an amplified sensing capacitance, while sensing the amplified sensing capacitance with the aid of pulse width modulation signals, higher resolution of the original sensing capacitance may thus be achieved. Besides, by using a self-calibrating capacitance sensing circuit on the touch panel sensing circuit, linear errors and DC errors of an output signal of the capacitance sensing analog circuit may be filtered off, and thereby resolution of a capacitance amplifying ratio may be effectively raised so as to relieve errors within the capacitance amplifying ratio caused by noises.

Wherein, a current path from the first grounding part to the feeding part along the body part is &#xbd; times of the wavelength at the operating frequency, and a relative distance between the second grounding part and the first grounding part is &#xbc; times of the wavelength at the operating frequency.

Antenna with double groundings

A handset device including a ground plane, an antenna, a first conductive strip and a second conductive strip is provided. The antenna is electrically connected to the ground plane and forms a current loop with the ground plane. The ground plane forms a current area according to the current loop. The first conductive strip is electrically connected to the current area and changes a current distribution on the ground plane to increase a current density passing through the current area.
