A display substrate is provided. The display substrate includes a first insulating layer disposed on a substrate, a second insulating layer disposed on the first insulating layer. In particular, the first insulating layer has a first opening and the second insulating layer has a second opening, wherein the first opening and the second opening are partially overlapped. Further, in a cross-sectional view, the first insulating layer corresponding to the first opening has two first bottom ends, and the second insulating layer corresponding to the second opening has two second bottom ends, a location of a first vertical central line between the two first bottom ends is different from a location of a second vertical central line between the two second bottom ends, and the first vertical central line and the second vertical central line are substantially parallel to a normal direction of the surface.

Display substrate and display device

A display device and a display substrate are provided. The display device includes a first substrate, having a surface; a gate line disposed on the substrate, wherein the gate line substantially extends along a first direction; a first data line and a drain electrode disposed on the substrate, and the data line intersecting with the gate line. In particular, a first opening projects onto the surface to form a first projection pattern, wherein the first projection pattern includes a first portion, and wherein the first portion is disposed between projections of the at least two finger portions onto the surface and outside a projection of the connecting portion onto the surface.

Display device and display substrate

A display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate and a light shielding layer located between the first substrate and the second substrate. The light shielding layer includes first connecting portions extending along a first direction, second connecting portions extending along a second direction, extending portions and sub-extending portions connected by the first and second connecting portions. The first connecting portions and the second connecting portions define sub-pixels. The sub-pixels include a first sub-pixel. A projection of the extending portions on the first substrate overlaps the first sub-pixel to form a first overlapping area. A projection of the sub-extending portions on the first substrate overlaps the first sub-pixel to form a second overlapping area. The first overlapping area is greater than the second overlapping area. A largest width of the extending portions is greater than a largest width of the sub-extending portions in the first direction.

Display panel

A display panel comprising a first substrate, a second substrate and a light shielding layer is provided. The first substrate comprises several display units arranged in a matrix and forming an image display region. The display units comprise m*n pixels arranged in a matrix. The second substrate is opposite to the first substrate. The light shielding layer located between the first substrate and the second substrate comprises several extending portions. The projection of one of the extending portions on the first substrate overlaps at least one of the pixels. Each pixel having the largest overlapping area with the extending portion is a first pixel, and other pixels are second pixels. In each display unit, there is at most one first pixel per column or per row. In the image display region, all of the pixels adjacent to the first pixel are second pixels.

A pixel array is disposed on a first substrate and comprises a pixel having a first electrode layer including a plurality of electrode portions. A light-blocking layer is disposed on a second substrate along a first direction and includes a first light-blocking portion and a second light-blocking portion. The first electrode layer is between the first light-blocking portion and the second light-blocking portion. The first light-blocking portion has a first edge away from the first electrode layer, and the electrode portions include a first electrode portion adjacent to the first light-blocking portion. A brightness distribution of the pixel along the first direction has a first maximum brightness corresponding to a first position on the second substrate. PTB denotes the minimum width from the first position to the first edge, Px denotes the width of the pixel along the first direction, conforming to the following equation: 

Display panel and display device

A display device is provided. The display device includes a pixel-displaying region, including: at least two pixels including a plurality of sub-pixels; and a light-shielding layer including a matrix portion and an enlarged portion, wherein the enlarged portion is disposed at an intersection of two of the adjacent sub-pixels and is adjacent to the matrix portion; wherein the matrix portion defines the sub-pixels, and a total area of the sub-pixels is defined as a first area and a ratio of an area of the enlarged portion to the first area is about 1.5% to 6%.

Display device

A display device is provided. The display device includes a switch including a gate, an active layer disposed on the gate, a source electrode connected to the active layer, and a drain electrode connected to the active layer. In particular, the distance between the edge of the gate electrode and the edge of the active layer is 1.2 to 3 &#x3bc;m. The drain electrode includes a connection portion, an oblique portion, and an extension portion, wherein the oblique portion is disposed between the connection portion and the extension portion, and wherein at least a part of the oblique portion overlaps with the gate electrode.

A pixel array is disposed on a first substrate and comprises a pixel having a first electrode layer including a plurality of electrode portions. A light-blocking layer is disposed on a second substrate along a first direction and includes a first and second light-blocking portions. The first electrode layer is between the first and second light-blocking portions. The first light-blocking portion has a first edge away from the first electrode layer, and the electrode portions include a first electrode portion adjacent to the first light-blocking portion. A brightness distribution of the pixel along the first direction has a first maximum brightness corresponding to a first position on the second substrate. PTB denotes the minimum width from the first position to the first edge, Px denotes the width of the pixel along the first direction, conforming to the following equation:
