A watch band for a watch can include an antenna that is operable for wireless communication with other devices. The antenna can be embedded within a body of the watch band to protect the antenna from an external environment and to conceal it from view. The antennas can adaptably stretch, bend, and flex with the watch band body, thereby avoiding damage from applied forces while also maintaining the compliance and comfort of the watch band while worn by a user.

Antenna assemblies for watch bands

An antenna module is provided for transmitting a wireless signal. The antenna module includes a reflective superstrate, an antenna substrate, a feed conductor, a ground layer and a reflective pattern. The reflective superstrate includes a third surface and a fourth surface, wherein the third surface is opposite to the fourth surface. The antenna substrate includes a first surface and a second surface, wherein the first surface is opposite to the second surface. A feed conductor is disposed on the first surface. The ground layer is disposed on the second surface. The reflective pattern is formed on the third surface and faces the feed conductor, wherein a reflection gap d is formed between the reflective pattern and the ground layer, and the wireless signal has a wavelength &#x3bb;, and the reflection gap d is between &#x3bb;/20 and &#x3bb;/80.

An antenna module is provided. The antenna module includes a reflective superstrate, an antenna substrate, an antenna and a reflective pattern. The antenna is disposed on the antenna substrate. The reflective pattern is formed on the reflective superstrate, wherein a reflection gap is formed between the reflective superstrate and the antenna substrate. The reflective pattern provides a first reflection phase angle, the antenna substrate provides a second reflection phase angle, the first reflection phase angle includes a first determined phase angle &#x394;, the first determined phase angle &#x394;is not 0&#xb0;, the first reflection phase angle is about &#x2212;(180&#xb0;&#x2212;&#x394;), the second reflection phase angle includes a second determined phase angle &#x394;, the second reflection phase angle is about &#x2212;(180&#xb0;&#x2212;&#x394;), a dimension of the reflection gap is directly proportional to a total predetermined phase angle &#x394;=&#x394;+&#x394;, and the total predetermined phase angle is between 0&#xb0;&#x2dc;90&#xb0;.

A method and system for automatic service composition is disclosed, wherein a service registry stores a plurality of service specifications received from at least one service provider in a service repository, and receives service requests from service requestors. A composition engine of the service registry can automatically generate a series of actions from service specifications stored in the service repository according to the service request, and then passes those actions to the service requestor for being processed. In order to facilitate the preceding procedure of automatic composition, the composition engine pre-processes service requests and service specifications, and declares suitable new objects. The composition engine also post-processes the planning resolution generated by the planning module for translating the format of the planning resolution into a processing language, and finally passes the resolution to a processing engine of the service requestor for being processed.
