Various embodiments are disclosed for modifying stereoscopic images. One embodiment is a method implemented in an image processing device for modifying stereoscopic images. The method comprises retrieving, by an image processing device, a stereoscopic image having at least a first view image and a second view image and retrieving an orientation selection relating to the stereoscopic image, the orientation selection comprising a selection other than one of: a horizontal flip selection and a 180 degree rotation selection. The method further comprises calculating a depth map according to at least part of the stereoscopic image, rotating the first view image based on the orientation selection to obtain a rotated first view image, and generating a new second view image according to the depth map and the rotated first view image.

Systems and methods for modifying stereoscopic images

A method for implementing remote control functionality with a mouse in a video playback system includes the steps of identifying all selectable buttons within the page, depressing a key on a mouse device while the mouse is positioned over a first button currently selected, dragging the mouse device in the direction of a second button to be selected while depressing the key, and releasing the key on the mouse device once the mouse device is positioned over the second button to select the second button.

System and method for implementing remote control functions in a mouse in a video playback system

Systems and methods for creating a button map for implementing remote control functions for a standard input/output device in a video playback system is described. One embodiment is directed to a method which includes first adding a button that is currently selected along with its neighboring selectable buttons to a button map, iteratively adding a new selectable button not in the button map and then adding all neighboring selectable buttons for the new button to the button map. Finally, the method includes selecting one of the buttons in the button map using a standard input/output device.
