The system allows real time collection and processing of massive data from many network elements. It has an elastic architecture that scales horizontally to support different network sizes. The system in a uniform data format for downstream consumption. It employs a pub/sub data distribution mechanism that supports multiple concurrent downstream subscribers efficiently in real-time.

Bulk data processing system

A method includes detecting, at a customer premise equipment management system, a trigger event associated with customer premise equipment data, the customer premise equipment data associated with a customer premise equipment device. The method also includes initiating a connection to the customer premise equipment device via an application program interface in response to the trigger event, where the application program interface is selected based on the customer premise equipment data. The method further includes sending, from the customer premise equipment management system, a customer premise equipment data request to the customer premise equipment device via the application program interface.

Systems and methods for retrieving customer premise equipment data

Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for collecting data from CPE devices located on a remote LAN are provided. Communication is established over a WAN with a gateway attached to the LAN. The gateway is then used to enumerate the CPE devices on the LAN. A firewall pinhole is created in the gateway for each CPE device on the LAN, and communication is established through the pinholes to the CPE devices to collect the desired data.

Data collection from CPE devices on a remote LAN

Access to network elements of a telecommunications network is integrated through a common access point by an integrated access application which receives a request for communication with a network element. An element management system (EMS) group, including at least one EMS server, associated with the network element is identified. The at least one EMS server is queried to identify an active EMS server and to determine whether the active EMS server has an available connection sufficient to support the request. When the active EMS server has the available connection, the request is sent over the available connection. When the active EMS server does not have the available connection, the request may be buffered and, after a predetermined time, it is again determined whether the active EMS server has the available connection. When the request is sent, it may be multiplexed with other requests over the same available connection.

Integrated access management of element management systems

Method of augmenting a deployed network to include additional network elements. The method includes instructions for determining whether a deployed network is sufficient for supporting existing customer and future customer demands and generating an augmented network design if the deployed network is insufficient. The augmented network design includes new network nodes such that deployed network is a subset of the augmented network, thereby permitting augmenting of the deployed network without interruption services to the existing customers supported by the deployed network.
