The at least one processor may be configured to execute the instructions to: based on content being output on the display, transmit first user interface (UI) information corresponding to a UI related to control of the content to the external apparatus through the communication interface, control the display to output a first control UI together with the content based on the first UI information, and based on a user input being received through a second control UI output on the external apparatus based on the first UI information, control the display to output a guide UI in an input location corresponding to the user input together with the content and the first control UI.

An electronic device and method of preventing deterioration by an operation of an antenna are provided. The electronic device includes a display configured to be folded and unfolded, and provide content, a sensor configured to detect a state change of the display, an antenna configured to transmit and receive an electromagnetic wave, and at least one processor electrically connected to the display, the sensor, and the antenna, in which the at least one processor is configured to detect a state change of the display by using the sensor, identify one or more operating electronic circuitry among electronic circuitries in the electronic device, determine an electronic circuitry in which deterioration is caused by an operation of the antenna among the one or more operating electronic circuitry, based on the state change of the display, and deactivate a certain beam among beams generated by the antenna to reduce deterioration of the determined electronic circuitry.

Electronic device and prevention method for preventing deterioration by operation of antenna module

A mobile electronic device may be configured to identify multiple beams is provided. The mobile electronic device includes a first beam and a second beam for communication with at least one base station, when the first beam and the second beam correspond to the same first direction, identify a third beam which corresponds to a direction differing from the first direction and has a strength of a signal received from the at least one base station, the strength being equal to or greater than a designated value, when the identification of the third beam fails, apply, to the first beam and the second beam, a power back-off for multiple beams corresponding to the same direction, so as to perform communication with the at least one base station, and when the third beam is identified, change the second beam to the third beam and perform communication with the at least one base station without applying the power back-off for multiple beams corresponding to the same direction and by using the first beam and the third beam.

Disclosed is an antenna module including a first printed circuit board (PCB) including a first surface facing a first direction and a second surface facing a second direction opposite the first direction, a second PCB including a third surface facing the first direction spaced from the first PCB and a fourth surface facing the second direction spaced from the first surface, a radio frequency integrated circuit (RFIC) disposed on the first surface, and a connection member comprising a conductive material connecting the first surface to the fourth surface. The at least one first conductive pattern is connected to the RFIC. The at least one third conductive pattern is connected to the RFIC via the connection member. The at least one first conductive pattern and the at least one third conductive pattern at least partially overlap with each other at least partly, when viewed from above the second surface.

An electronic device includes a housing including a first plate and a second plate; and a first antenna structure. The first antenna structure includes a board disposed between the first plate and the second plate. The board includes a first surface facing the first plate, a second surface facing the second plate, a plurality of insulating layers stacked on top of each other between the first surface and the second surface, a first conductive layer disposed on the first surface, a second conductive layer disposed on the second surface, a plurality of strips disposed between the plurality of insulating layers, and a plurality of vias connecting at least one or more of the first conductive layer, the second conductive layer, or the plurality of strips to each other and disposed in the plurality of insulating layers. The disclosure provides an electronic device comprising an antenna module and a wireless communication circuit. The antenna module comprises: a printed circuit board comprising a first surface extending in a first direction and a second surface extending in a second direction opposite the first direction; a first area comprising a first antenna array; a second area comprising a second antenna array and at least partially overlapping the first area; a third area comprising a third antenna array and not overlapping the first area; a fourth area comprising a fourth antenna array and at least partially overlapping the third area; and a ground layer. The wireless communication circuit is electrically connected to the plurality of antenna arrays and transmits and/or receives a signal having a frequency in a range of about 3 GHz to 100 GHz.

An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device comprises: a first plate including a first planar region facing a first direction; a second plate comprising a second planar region facing a second direction opposite to the first direction; a housing including a side member surrounding an inner space between the first plate and the second plate; a display disposed between the first plate and the second plate and viewed through the first plate; and an antenna module disposed between the display and the second plate and configured to emit electromagnetic waves to the outside of the housing. The antenna module comprises: an antenna substrate including a first surface facing the first plate, a second surface facing the second plate, and a third surface facing the inner surface of the side member; and a wireless communication circuit disposed on the first surface of the antenna substrate. The antenna substrate comprises: a first antenna adjacent to the first surface or formed on the first surface; a second antenna adjacent to the second surface or formed on the second surface; and a third antenna formed between the first antenna and the second antenna. The first antenna is formed at a first distance from the third surface, the second antenna is formed at a second distance from the third surface, and the third antenna may be formed at a third distance that is greater than the first distance and the second distance from the third surface. Various other embodiments inferred from the present specification are also possible.

An electronic device according to an embodiment of the present invention may include a housing and an antenna module disposed on one surface of the housing, wherein the antenna module may include a printed circuit board including a first layer facing the one surface of the housing, a second layer facing the first layer, and at least one ground layer disposed between the first layer and the second layer, a first antenna array disposed on the first layer, a second antenna array disposed on the second layer and at least partially overlapping the first antenna array when viewed from the one surface of the housing, and a communication circuit (radio frequency integrated circuit (RFIC)) electrically connected to the first antenna array and the second antenna array and feeding the first antenna array and the second antenna array, wherein the communication circuit may be configured to receive a first signal from an external device via at least one of the first antenna array or the second antenna array, change a phase of at least a portion of the first antenna array and the second antenna array based on the first signal, and transmit/receive a second signal in a direction of a beam formed by the changed phase. The present technique discloses a buck-boost converter. According to a detailed example of the present invention, a number of switching elements of a buck-boost converter is reduced compared with a conventional buck-boost converter, and thereby a buck mode and a boost mode are performed with reduced overall conduction loss and switching loss. The electronic device includes a housing provided with a plurality of housing modules, and a printed circuit board positioned inside the housing, and having an antenna power feeding unit electrically connected to the printed circuited board. The plurality of housing modules may be at least partially formed of a conductive material. At least one of the conductive materials of the plurality of housing modules may be electrically connected to the antenna power feeding unit of the printed circuit board so as to function as an antenna of the electronic device. An antenna of an electronic device is provided. The antenna includes a substrate including a ground portion, an external metallic frame of the electronic device, a float ground portion arranged to be connected to the external metallic frame in a state of being disconnected from the substrate, and at least one radiator electrically connected to the float ground portion. Upon being fed with power, the at least one radiator may operate as an antenna radiator, or a section of the external metallic frame may operate as the antenna radiator.
