Provided is a display device. The display device having an active area including a plurality of sub-pixels and a non-active area. The display device comprises a lower substrate made of a transparent conducting oxide or an oxide semiconductor; a plurality of transistors disposed in the plurality of sub-pixels on the lower substrate, a planarization layer disposed on the plurality of transistors, a plurality of light emitting elements disposed on the planarization layer in the plurality of sub-pixels and including an anode, a light emitting layer and a cathode and a plurality of light emitting layer protective patterns disposed between the planarization layer and the anode.

A display device according to an example of the present disclosure includes a lower substrate divided into an active area and a non-active area, an upper substrate disposed above the lower substrate, a flexible film connected to a pad area of the lower substrate in the non-active area, a first sealing film disposed in the pad area and having at least one open hole, and a second sealing film disposed on a top surface of the flexible film and a side surface of the upper substrate. By this configuration, moisture which may permeate through a side surface of the display device can be more effectively blocked.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a display device includes a display panel, a first back cover supporting the display panel on a rear surface of the display panel, a roller around which the display panel and the first back cover are wound, a pad glass disposed on the rear surface of the first back cover and including a plurality of pads disposed thereon, a plurality of flexible films bonded to the pad glass, and a plurality of side lines electrically connecting the plurality of pads of the pad glass and the display panel. Accordingly, the plurality of pads is separately formed from the display panel so that any stress which may be transmitted to the plurality of pads and the plurality of flexible films when the display device is wound or unwound can be minimized.

A display device includes a display panel; a back cover disposed on a rear surface of the display panel to support the display panel; a roller disposed on a rear surface of the back cover, wherein the display panel and the back cover are wound around or unwound from the roller; a support bar disposed on a front surface of the display panel and fastened to the display panel and the back cover through fastening means; and at least one anti-shift means disposed on the rear surface of the back cover and fastened to a fastening groove of the roller when the display panel and the back cover are wound around the roller.
