A polyhedron type display device includes: a plurality of liquid crystal panels connected to each other to constitute a polyhedral shape; a light source housing at a center of mass of the polyhedral shape; a light source unit accommodated in the light source housing, the light source unit emitting a light to supply the light to the plurality of liquid crystal panels; a light source supporting pillar connecting and supporting the light source housing and the plurality of liquid crystal panels; a structure supporting pedestal supporting the light source supporting pillar; a supporting panel supporting the plurality of liquid crystal panels; a radiating pillar connected to the light source unit and emitting a heat of the light source unit; and a protecting cover covering and protecting the radiating pillar.

Polyhedron type display device

A deformed liquid crystal display device including a cover bottom; a backlight unit on the cover bottom; the backlight unit including: a LED assembly including a plurality of LEDs; a reflector comprising a bottom surface, and side portions bent upward from edges of the bottom surface; a diffuser, disposed above and spaced apart from the plurality of LEDs and the bottom surface of the reflector; a liquid crystal panel disposed on the backlight unit, wherein the reflector has at least one corner having an acute angle formed by two adjacent side portions, wherein a brightness enhancing portion is disposed at the corner having the acute angle.

Deformed liquid crystal display device

The present disclosure relates to a display device where unit liquid crystal display devices are easily assembled for a volumetric display or a multi display by applying a chamfer structure to a side surface portion of the unit liquid crystal display device. The display device includes a plurality of unit liquid crystal display devices, each having a liquid crystal panel, a backlight unit under the liquid crystal panel, a top frame over the liquid crystal display panel, and a main frame surrounding a side surface of the backlight unit. The liquid crystal panel is one the main frame. Additionally, at least one side surface portion of each of the plurality of unit liquid crystal display devices has a chamfer structure.

Display device

A backlight unit and a liquid crystal display device having the same which may facilitate control of output light through a light guide plate, improve light concentration effect, and reduce moire. The backlight unit includes light sources generating light, a light guide plate guiding light through an incidence surface opposite the light sources, emitting the light through an emission surface, and having lower patterns of a prism shape formed on the lower surface of the light guide plate opposite the emission surface by inclined surfaces and sub-inclined surfaces, and at least one optical sheet stacked on the emission surface.
