Proposed is a dynamometer for measuring load of a rotary shaft to be tested, the dynamometer comprising: a dynamometer shaft connected to the rotary shaft to be tested; a casing part having a through hole through which the dynamometer shaft passes, and a water supply chamber and a drain chamber therein; a stator part including a first stator and a second stator to be spaced apart from each other; a toroidal chamber partitioning part partitioning a toroidal chamber into a first toroidal chamber and a second toroidal chamber, wherein the toroidal chamber partitioning part comprises a runner and a guide ring, forming a drain slot through which the fluid is discharged from the first toroidal chamber and the second toroidal chamber to the drain chamber; and a flow adjusting part adjusting flow rate of the fluid.

Power transmission apparatus and power generation system having same

Provided are a bearing and a power generation system including the same. The bearing supporting a shaft system of a power generation system in a radial direction includes a pad disposed on an outer side of the shaft system with respect to the radial direction and including a cooling path through which oil flows. In the bearing and the power generation system including the same, the cooling flow path is formed through the pad so that the oil existing between the pad and the shaft system flows into the cooling flow path to cool the pad. Accordingly, the pad is continuously cooled during the operation of the power generation system, and the temperature of the pad is prevented from rising above the threshold value even if friction occurs between the shaft system and the pad.

A clearance adjusting apparatus to move a thrust bearing of a gas turbine back and forth to adjust a tip clearance of a turbine is provided. The clearance adjusting apparatus includes an adjusting plate disposed to move forward from or rearward to a reference surface, a biasing cylinder disposed to selectively move the adjusting plate back and forth, a stopper disposed to be moved toward the adjusting plate after being moved forward to prevent a rearward movement of the adjusting plate, a position sensor disposed to measure a distance from the reference surface to the adjusting plate, and a controller configured to receive information about measurements from the position sensor and control an operation of the stopper and the biasing cylinder based on the received information.

Apparatus for adjusting clearance and gas turbine including the same

A clearance adjusting apparatus disposed in front of a compressor of a gas turbine to axially move a compressor disk back and forth to adjust a tip clearance formed between a compressor blade and a compressor casing is provided. The clearance adjusting apparatus includes a hollow fastening part disposed in front of the compressor casing, a shaft disposed in the fastening part and coupled to a front side of the compressor disk, an adjusting part disposed between the fastening part and the shaft to axially move the shaft back and forth to adjust the tip clearance, and a biasing part disposed on the fastening part to bias the adjusting part back and forth to adjust a position of the adjusting part and the shaft.

A blade tip clearance control apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a rotor, a hydraulic clearance control device, and a cylinder locking device. The rotor includes a thrust collar, a pair of thrust bearings axially supporting the thrust collar, and a plurality of radially extending blades. The hydraulic clearance control device includes a first hydraulic cylinder moving any one of the pair of thrust bearings in a forward axial direction and a second hydraulic cylinder moving the other thrust bearing in the reverse axial direction. The cylinder locking device includes a first locking device restricting a forward moving distance of the first hydraulic cylinder and a second locking device restricting a reverse moving distance of the second hydraulic cylinder.

Blade tip clearance control apparatus for gas turbine

A gas turbine comprises a strut assembly including an inner ring; an inclined member including a first end connected to the inner ring, a second end positioned opposite the first end, and a flange extending radially inward from the second end; an oil sump mounted to the second end or the flange; a thrust bearing fixed to the oil sump; and a thrust collar extending radially from a rotor, wherein the inclined member has an aperture portion formed therein, the aperture portion is positioned in an upper portion of a region between the thrust bearing and a journal bearing, and the aperture portion has a width and a circumferential length greater than at least the journal bearing. The gas turbine has the feature that the journal bearing is easily withdrawn and the total weight of the gas turbine is reduced.

A pump for supplying a cryogenic liquid coolant in accordance with the present invention includes: a housing having an inlet port for introducing a cryogenic liquid coolant, an outlet port for discharging the cryogenic liquid coolant introduced through the inlet port, and a chamber for connecting the inlet port and the outlet port; an impeller rotatably retained in the housing for introducing the cryogenic liquid coolant through the inlet port and discharging the same through the outlet port; and a vapor exhausting part provided in the housing for exhausting vapor generated from the cryogenic liquid coolant.

The present disclosure relates to a superconducting rotating electrical machine and a manufacturing method for a high temperature superconducting film thereof. The superconducting rotating electrical machine includes a stator, and a rotor rotatable with respect to the stator, the rotor having a rotary shaft and a rotor winding. Here, the rotor winding includes tubes disposed on a circumference of the rotary shaft and each forming a passage for a cooling fluid therein, superconducting wires accommodated within the tubes, and a cooling fluid flowing through the inside of the tubes. This configuration may allow for direct heat exchange between the superconducting wires and a refrigerant, resulting in improvement of heat exchange efficiencies of the superconducting wires.

Superconducting rotating electrical machine and manufacturing method for high temperature superconducting film thereof

A superconducting rotating machine having a cooler for a rotator is provided. The superconducting rotating machine includes a rotator wound with a superconducting coil, a stator enclosing the rotator and separated therefrom by a predetermined gap, the cooler having a cold head directly attached to the rotator and at least one compressor connected with the cold head, and a flexible coupling disposed between the cold head and the compressor and enabling a cryogenic refrigerant to flow therein. The cold head is directly connected to the rotator, and the cold head and the compressor are driven using the flexible coupling, so that it is possible to prevent vibration of the compressor and enhance cooling efficiency by thermally separating the cryogenic cold head from the compressor.

The rotary type ultralow temperature refrigerant supply apparatus includes a refrigerant introduction pipe coupled to the super conductive rotor for supplying a liquid-phase ultralow temperature refrigerant cooled by the refrigeration system to the evaporator, a refrigerant withdrawal pipe disposed spaced apart from the refrigerant introduction pipe for withdrawing a gas-phase ultralow temperature refrigerant obtained through the evaporation of the liquid-phase refrigerant by the evaporator and guiding the withdrawn gas-phase ultralow temperature refrigerant to the refrigeration system, and a vacuum housing fixedly disposed outside the refrigerant introduction pipe and the refrigerant withdrawal pipe, the vacuum housing having a vacuum heat insulation space defined inside.

Rotary type ultralow temperature refrigerant supply apparatus

Disclosed is a cryogenic fluid circulation pump that is capable of preventing heat from permeating into a cryogenic fluid by convection during the circulation of the cryogenic fluid by the pump and, at the same time, minimizing the transfer of heat to the cryogenic fluid circulating through a shaft rotating to rotate the pump. The cryogenic fluid circulation pump includes a magnet pump unit mounted in a vacuum chamber having an introduction channel and a discharge channel formed therein to prevent heat from permeating into the cryogenic fluid by convection for rotating by a magnetic force to circulate the cryogenic fluid, when a rotary force from a power source is transmitted to the magnet pump unit.

Disclosed is a cooling fluid path structure for a superconducting rotating machine, which includes: a fixed inlet fluid path fixed together with the fluid supply means; a rotating inlet fluid path adjacently connected to an outlet of the fixed inlet fluid path, which is for transferring the cooling fluid transferred from the fixed inlet fluid path to a cooling fluid path inlet provided in the rotor while rotating together with the rotor; a rotating outlet fluid path rotating together with the rotor, to which the cooling fluid discharged from a cooling fluid path outlet of the rotor is transferred; and a fixed outlet fluid path adjacently connected to the rotating outlet fluid path, which is for transferring the cooling fluid transferred from the rotating outlet fluid path to the fluid supply means while being fixed together with the fluid supply means, wherein the rotating outlet fluid path and the fixed outlet fluid path are disposed in such a manner that they surround outside of the rotating inlet fluid path and the fixed inlet fluid path.

Cooling fluid path structure for superconduction rotating machine

Disclosed herein is a superconducting field coil of a homopolar type superconducting synchronous machine. The superconducting synchronous machine includes a superconducting field coil which comprises a single or double pancake coil formed by winding a superconducting wire, a core-type rotor which is made of a magnetic material, and an armature winding excited to three phases on a surface of a core of a stator. The field coil of the homopolar type superconducting synchronous machine is not rotated when the machine is in operation. Thus, there is no part for coupling the rotating field coil to a stationary cryo-cooler for cooling a refrigerant, so that the structure is simple, reliability is high, and various cooling methods are available.
