An electronic apparatus includes an input unit to receive an input of DC power from an external adaptor, a battery unit to store the received DC power, a first control unit to drive the electronic apparatus using power of the battery unit or power received from the input unit in a first operation mode, and to drive the electronic apparatus using both the power of the battery unit and the power input from the input unit in a second operation mode, and a power control unit to prevent a mode of the electronic apparatus from being changed to the second operation mode according to a state of the battery unit.

A computer system and a power supplying method thereof in which noise due to switched power mode is reduced for a user's convenience. The computer system comprises a mode determiner to generate a mode signal comprising a predetermined part corresponding to one among a plurality of power modes; a power supply to supply power having a level of voltage corresponding to the mode signal to a central processing unit; and a mode controller to maintain or convert the predetermined part of the mode signal corresponding to one among the plurality of power modes to lower a difference in the level of voltage when the power mode is switched from a first level of voltage to a second level of voltage, wherein the second level of voltage is higher than the first level of voltage.

Computer system and power supplying method thereof

An electronic device includes a system part having a plurality of electronic components; a system power supply outputting a system operating power by transforming electrical power supplied from the battery pack into the system operating power to operate the system part; a power selector outputting a system power selecting signal to turn the system part on/off according to an operation of a user; a micro control unit (MCU) controlling whether the system operating power of the system power supply is output; and an MCU power controller determining whether a control power to turn the MCU on is supplied by transforming electrical power supplied from the battery pack into the control power, based on the system power selecting signal transmitted from the power selector and controlling the MCU to be turned on/off.
