A gas capture plant is provided. The gas capture plant includes an absorption tower for dissolving an object gas that requires regeneration in a lean absorbent liquid to produce rich absorbent liquid. A regeneration tower heats the rich absorbent liquid produced in the absorption tower to produce the lean absorbent liquid from which the regeneration gas is separated and the produced lean absorbent liquid is supplied back to the absorption tower. A gas condensing device condenses the regeneration gas received from the regeneration tower to separate condensate and target gas, thereafter, supplying the separated condensate to the regeneration tower, and exhausting the separated target gas. The gas condensing device includes a condenser and a reflux apparatus disposed within one housing and the condenser is disposed above the reflux apparatus.

Gas capture plant

An absorbent for desulfurization of combustion gas is provided. The absorbent includes about 1 to about 16 wt % of potassium carbonate (KCO); about 0.1 to about 10 wt % of a promoting agent including hindered cyclic amine, hindered cyclic amine bicarbonate, or a combination thereof; and a balance amount of water. In addition, a method of treating the combustion gas using the absorbent is provided.

A lean absorbent liquid supplier, disposed inside at an upper portion in the absorption tower housing, supplies a lean absorbent liquid into the housing. An absorption tower rectifier, disposed under the lean absorbent liquid supplier in the absorption tower housing, rectifies flow of the lean absorbent liquid supplied downwardly in the absorption tower housing, and dissolves an object gas in the lean absorbent liquid to generate a rich absorbent liquid. An absorbent liquid chamber, disposed below the absorption tower rectifier in the absorption tower housing temporarily stores the rich absorbent liquid therein. An absorption separator is disposed between the absorption tower rectifier and the absorbent liquid chamber in the absorption tower housing. The object gas is supplied to the absorbent liquid chamber.

A system for absorbing and separating acid gases may include an absorbing tower in which a gas containing an acid gas is supplied, a recycling tower that is disposed close to the absorbing tower, an absorbent that absorbs an acid gas in the absorbing tower and discharges the acid gas back to the recycling tower while circulating through the absorbing tower and the recycling tower, and a condenser that is connected to the recycling tower and condenses an acid gas produced in the recycling tower, wherein a centrifugal separator that separates the absorbent, using a centrifugal force, is disposed at a lower portion in the absorbing tower.

A regeneration tower may include: a rich absorbent liquid supplier that supplies rich absorbent liquid into a first housing; a rectifier positioned below the rich absorbent liquid supplier and rectifying flow of the rich absorbent liquid supplied downwardly in the first housing; a reboiler positioned below the rectifier and separating regeneration gas from the rich absorbent liquid by boiling the rich absorbent liquid; a separator that supplies the rich absorbent liquid from the rectifier to the rich absorbent liquid tank, bypassing the regeneration gas generated in the reboiler into the first housing through a path different from a supply path of the rich absorbent liquid to the reboiler; and a lean absorbent liquid tank receiving lean absorbent liquid from which the regeneration gas is separated in the reboiler, where the reboiler receives the rich absorbent liquid only through the rich absorbent liquid tank.

A gas condensing device may be configured to condense regeneration gas and separate target gas from condensate. The gas condensing device may include: a housing; a condenser mounted in an upper portion of the housing and configured to condense the regeneration gas; and a reflux apparatus mounted in the housing below the condenser and configured to temporarily store the condensate and discharge evaporation gas evaporated from the condensate back to the condenser.
