An extinguishing device for an electrical unit on an aircraft cabin monument or in an aircraft structure cavity, a combination of a holder and an extinguishing device and systems formed by extinguishing devices and a control unit and by combinations of an extinguishing device and a holder and a control unit. The extinguishing device has a base element for a holder. An extinguishing agent container has a casing and holds an extinguishing agent. A triggering device is connected to the extinguishing agent container to act in response to receiving a triggering signal wherein an extinguishing agent is released into the extinguishing device surrounding area. A data transmission device has a data store with an identifier unique to the extinguishing device and connected to the triggering device, the data transmission device for sending a warning signal via a network to a control unit in response to the triggering device receiving the triggering signal.

A length-adjustable cable device for wiring an aircraft cabin includes a cable and a cable drum with a cylindrical wall which is arranged around an axis of rotation and has an outwardly facing rolling-up surface. The first end of the cable is fastened to or arranged on the cable drum in such a manner that the first connection provided at the first end can be connected to a corresponding connection of another cable device. The cable is wound up onto the rolling-up surface in such a manner that it is unwound from the rolling-up surface by rotation of the cable drum about the axis of rotation thereof when the second end is moved away from the cable drum. The cable drum is configured for fastening to a cabin component of an aircraft cabin.

A smoke and fire source detection system including a flexible printed circuit board with a film substrate and an electrical conductor layer formed on the film substrate, which includes a two-dimensional conductor path pattern. The flexible printed circuit board includes a first end portion with an electronic control device and a data and energy supply interface coupled to the electronic control device, a second end portion with an ground connection, a data and energy supply conductor path formed in the electrical conductor layer between the data and energy supply interface of the first end portion and a ground connection of the second end portion, and one or more sensor module portions which are arranged at different longitudinal extension positions along the flexible printed circuit board between the first end portion and the second end portion and which each include a temperature sensor and/or smoke detector.

A connecting assembly for electrically connecting a ribbon cable in an aircraft. The assembly has a housing with a slot-shaped opening through which an end section of a ribbon cable can be inserted into a housing interior into a predetermined insertion position. The assembly has a first and a second engagement section which are arranged in the interior. The first engagement section is mounted such that it can be optionally moved between a first and a second position, such that by moving the first engagement section into its second position, the end section can be clamped tight optionally between the first second engagement sections and conductor tracks of the ribbon cable are then in contact with a corresponding number of electrical contacts provided on the first engagement section. In the second position, the first engagement section is releasably secured by a latching device.

A galley system comprising at least one electrically operated galley device, a galley frame having at least one compartment for housing the at least one galley device, at least one fuel cell unit, and a power control and monitoring unit coupled with the at least one galley device and the at least one fuel cell unit. A galley system comprises at least one electrically operated galley device, at least one fuel cell, a plurality of compartments for housing the galley devices, and an air extraction means. At least one of the plurality of compartments comprises at least one air extraction port couplable with the air extraction means. The at least one compartment is adapted for housing at least one of the at least one fuel cell and for removing at least a part of heat emanated from the at least one fuel cell through the air extraction means. At least one of the at least one electrically operated galley device is electrically couplable with the at least one fuel cell unit.
