A dose planning system, which takes the drug concentration distribution in human organs/tissues as well as the atomic composition distribution of human organs/tissues into consideration, and calculates the neutron/photon dose distribution in human organs/tissues under this drug concentration distribution using the Monte Carlo Method. Thereby the neutron/photon dose distribution in the organs/tissues of the human subject is calculated more accurately.

Dose planning system

A neutron beam generating device includes a supporting base, an outer shell, a target material, and a first pipe. The outer shell surrounds a rotating axis, rotatable engages the supporting base, and has a first opening. The target material is disposed in the outer shell. The first pipe extends from the first opening of the outer shell along the rotating axis to the target material. The first pipe is configured to transmit an ion beam to bombard the target material to generate a neutron beam.

Neutron beam generating device

A filter is provided. The filter includes a mixed layer. The mixed layer includes aluminum, magnesium fluoride, and lithium fluoride. The mixed layer is composed of 1 part by volume of magnesium fluoride, 0.25 to 1 parts by volume of aluminum, and 0.003 to 0.02 parts by volume of lithium fluoride.

Filter

A neutron beam source generator is provided, which includes an accelerator connecting to a beryllium target through a channel, a filter and a collimator. The beryllium target is disposed at an end of the channel and adjacent to the filter. The filter is disposed between the beryllium target and the collimator. The channel and the beryllium target have an angle &#x3b1; therebetween, and the angle &#x3b1; is between 0&#xb0; and 90&#xb0;. The channel and the direction normal to the surface of the filter have an angle &#x3b2; therebetween, and the angle &#x3b2; is between 0&#xb0; and 90&#xb0;. The cross-section of the channel is not circular.

Neutron beam source generator and filter

Disclosed is a filter including a second layer disposed between a first layer and a third layer. The first layer is composed of iron. The second layer is composed of 1 part by volume of lithium fluoride, 20 to 50 parts by volume of aluminum, and 50 to 80 parts by volume of aluminum fluoride. The third layer is composed of 1 part by weight of lithium fluoride and 99 to 100 parts by weight of magnesium fluoride.
