A maintenance device used for cleaning a print head of an ink cartridge includes a housing including a stopper, and a wiper holder installed inside the housing in a rotatable manner. The wiper holder includes a gear. The maintenance device further includes a wiper fixed on the wiper holder, and a sled installed on the housing in a slidable manner. The sled includes a rack geared with the gear of the wiper holder for driving the wiper holder to rotate when a carrier of the ink cartridge pushes the sled. The maintenance device further includes a lock lever pivoted to the sled for wedging the stopper so as to fix the sled, and a first elastic component connected to the housing and the sled for pulling the sled when the lock lever departs from the stopper.

Maintenance device used for cleaning a print head of an ink cartridge

A maintenance device for an inkjet cartridge that cleans a print head of the cartridge. The maintenance device has a sled and a cam, which allow an end of a wiper holder to move up and down. As a cartridge pushes the sled, a sliding pin extended from the wiper holder moves in an L-shaped slit of the sled, allowing the end of the wiper holder to move upward. After the cleaning of the print head, the cartridge pushes the cam downward to move the end of the wiper holder downward.

Maintenance device for inkjet cartridge

A sheet separator. The sheet separator includes a main body, a frictional member, and an elastic member. The main body is rotatable with a slot being longitudinally parallel to the moving direction of the medium. The frictional member is disposed in the slot and contacts the medium. When feeding, the medium exerts a first force on the main body through the frictional member. Moreover, the elastic member connects to the main body and exerts a second force thereon. According to the first force and the second force, the angle between the main body and the medium is adjusted.

Sheet feeder for media-feed mechanism

A sheet feeding apparatus, comprising a pad base, a groove along the central line of the pad base, and a spring embedded in the groove, is disclosed. The top of the spring protrudes above the top surface of base and a series of inclined protrusions are formed at two sides of the groove. The sheets are driven by rollers and rise gradually along the protrusions such that the sheets are separated one-by-one. Moreover, a radial arrangement of the ribs and the sheet-separating pad allows the lower edge of each sheet to move smoothly so that paper jams can be prevented.

Sheet feeding apparatus

A printer comprises a feeding device and a printing device. The feeding device has a substrate, a linkage mechanism, a deskewer, a recovery device and a scrubber. The linkage mechanism is disposed on the substrate and has a pallet used to support the media and moving between an initial site and a predetermined site in parallel. The deskewer is used for deskewing the media located on the pallet, the recovery device is disposed on the linkage mechanism, and the scrubber for feeding the media located on the pallet toward the printing device. Once the media is placed between the pallet and the scrubber or gradually delivered to the printing device by the scrubber, the pallet of the linkage mechanism is downwardly or upwardly shifted in parallel by the compressed recovery device.

Feeding device

A pallet for supporting media such as papers is disposed on a parallel motion mechanism. As the media is loaded, the pallet is shifted from an initial site toward a predetermined site in parallel, and therefore the media supported by the pallet is sequentially scrubbed and transmitted to a printing device by a scrubbing device.

A recording medium conveying device for an ink jet printing device comprises an active roller, a starwheel and an elastic cantilever beam, so that when the starwheel presses against the active roller, the recording medium is conveyed due to the rolling of the active roller, and is not substantially damaged.

A paper feeder includes a base plate, a movable paper holder for holding papers with a pivot fixed to the base plate and a rotating end positioned above the base plate in a rotatable way, a chute positioned on the bottom or the upper side of the movable holder, and an elastic device or a swing arm with one end positioned within the chute in a slidable way.

Paper feeder for papers with different thickness

A media feeding system has a pick arm with a pick roller, a media tray, a media restrainer, a motor and a drive train. The pick arm is rotatably installed above the media tray so that it can lift the pick roller away from the media tray, and lower it onto the media tray. The media restrainer can be in an up or a down position. When in the up position, it prevents media from moving out of the media tray. When in the down position, media can move out of the media tray past the media restrainer. The drive train delivers torque from the motor to the pick arm, pick roller and media restrainer. The motor can operate in two directions. When operating in the first direction, the media restrainer moves into the down position, the pick roller lowers onto stacked media and pushes a sheet out of the media tray past the media restrainer. When the motor operates in the second direction, the media restrainer moves into the up position, and the pick arm lifts the pick roller away from the stacked media.
