The plurality of light emitting elements are disposed on the substrate. The optical element covers at least two of the plurality of light emitting elements, wherein, in a cross-sectional view of the electronic device, a portion of the optical element is disposed between two adjacent ones of the plurality of light emitting elements, and a height of the sidewall is greater than a thickness of the optical element.

A display device including a backlight module is provided. The backlight module includes: a substrate, a backlight cavity, a plurality of light emitting elements, and an optical adjustment layer. The backlight cavity is located on the substrate. The plurality of light emitting elements is disposed in the backlight cavity. The optical adjustment layer covers the plurality of light emitting elements and fills the remaining space of the backlight cavity. The optical adjustment layer has a refractive index n greater than the refractive index no of the air.

Display device having reduced size and improved illumination

A display device and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed. The display device includes a backlight module, a display panel, and a decorative film. The backlight module includes: a reflective layer disposed on the decorative film; a light guide plate disposed on the reflective layer, a set of optical films including a first diffusion layer, and at least one refractive layer. The light guide plate has a first surface facing the reflective layer and a second surface opposite to the first surface, and the first diffusion layer is disposed on the second surface. At least one refractive layer is disposed on at least one of the first surface and the second surface, wherein a refractive index of the refractive layer is between 1.15 and 1.45. The display panel is disposed on one side of the set of optical films far away from the light guide plate.

Display device with backlight module and method for manufacturing the same

A display device is disclosed, which includes a display panel and a backlight module. The backlight module is disposed corresponding to the display panel, and includes a light guide plate, at least one light emitting unit, a reflector and a first pattern. The light guide plate has a central region and an outer region, and the outer region is disposed around the central region. The at least one light emitting unit is disposed adjacent to the light guide plate. At least a part of the reflector is disposed corresponding to a bottom surface of the light guide plate. The first pattern is disposed corresponding to the outer region, and the reflector and the light guide plate are adhered via the first pattern.

A backlight module includes a plurality of first light emitting elements and a light guiding plate including a first side, a second side and a light output side having microstructures at least disposed in a near-light region of the light guiding plate. The near-light region is defined as from a first line to a predetermined second line at the light output side. A display device is disclosed, which comprises: a display panel; and a backlight module corresponding to the display panel. The backlight module comprises: a light source; and a light guide plate adjacent to the light source and having a surface, wherein at least one light guide dot with an embossment and a cavity is disposed on the surface of the light guide plate, and the cavity surrounds the embossment.

A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display panel, a first back light module (BLU), a polarizer, a second BLU and a pattern retarder. The first BLU is disposed below the liquid crystal display panel for emitting light. The polarizer is disposed on the first BLU, to convert the light into a first light. The second BLU is disposed between the liquid crystal display panel and the first BLU for emitting a second light. The pattern retarder is disposed between the liquid crystal display panel and the first BLU. The pattern retarder includes plural first and second polarizing regions with orthogonal polarization states, and the first and second polarizing regions are arranged in an interlaced order. Also, the polarization state of the first light is orthogonal to the polarization state of the second polarizing region.

An optical film is provided. The optical film includes a substrate, a first transmission medium, second transmission medium, and a reflective polarizing film. The first transmission medium is disposed at the front surface of the substrate and includes a plurality of embossed microlenses. The second transmission medium is disposed at the rear surface of the substrate and comprises a plurality of V-shaped prisms. The reflective polarizing film is disposed at the front surface of the first transmission medium. The substrate, the first transmission medium, and the second transmission medium are bounded to each other to form a unitary sheet.
