An actuator tip diffuser may be retrofitted onto existing pump dispensers to create a scatter flow. The scatter flow can be induced by using patterns with larger area sections produce separate, individual streams. Increasing the length of the orifice adapter and adding a center outer ring also reduced spatter. In all instances, the actuator tip diffuser includes a through-channel, with an inlet fitted to the existing actuator nozzle on one end and a downwardly disposed outlet for discharging fluid via the pattern of orifices/structure noted above. The tip may also include one or more retainer tabs to create a snap fitting to existing dispenser pumps.

A trigger sprayer for connection to a container or liquid product which is to be dispensed is disclosed. The trigger sprayer includes a trigger body with a first engagement member and a nozzle with a second engagement member. The first engagement member is constructed and arranged to receive the second engagement member. The second engagement member is moveable relative to the first engagement member between a first position and a second position. Movement of the second engagement member relative to the first engagement member between the first and second positions encounters a region of increased resistance.

Trigger sprayer

A foamer for use in dispensing a dosage of a product which has a foam consistency is disclosed. The foamer is described as having a high output and as being a mini foamer such that the associated pump engine is able to deliver a dosage for each stroke which is in excess of that dosage normally associated with mini foamers. The receptacle to which the pump engine is assembled has a neck finish which is smaller than those neck finishes normally associated with higher output foamers. The resulting combination as set forth herein is to provide a higher output dosage without changing the size benefits and preferences of a mini foamer.

A squeeze sprayer for dispensing fluid product as a spray or spray mist includes a squeeze bottle and a squeeze sprayer closure attached to the squeeze bottle. The squeeze sprayer includes a cap which defines a chamber for receipt of air and fluid and further defines an outlet. Further included as a part of the squeeze sprayer is a valve which is assembled into the cap and a dip tube which is received by the cap. The dip tube is constructed and arranged to provide air to the chamber and the squeezing of the bottle forces air and fluid into the chamber and from there through the outlet to be dispensed as a spray or spray mist. A second embodiment provides an upright squeeze sprayer with a unique orifice cup. A third embodiment includes a directional adapter.

Squeeze sprayer for fluid products

A child-resistant, flip-top closure includes a closure body for secure connection to a container which stores the content/product which is to be dispensed. Hinged to the closure body is a flip-open lid which is constructed and arranged to be lifted manually. A child-resistant structure is incorporated into the closure construction. The child-resistant structure of one exemplary embodiment is constructed and arranged with a squeeze-to-release feature. The child-resistant structures of other exemplary embodiments are constructed and arranged with a tab press-down feature. Actuation of the child-resistant structure (squeeze or press down) must be performed concurrently with the lifting action applied to the flip-open lid.
