A traceable data audit apparatus, method, and non-transitory computer readable storage medium thereof are provided. The traceable data audit apparatus is stored with an original data set. The original data set includes a plurality of records and is defined with a plurality of fields. Each of the records has a plurality of items corresponding to the fields one-on-one. The fields are classified into an identity sensitive subset and an identity insensitive subset. The traceable data audit apparatus generates a released data set by applying a de-identification operation to each of the items corresponding to the fields in the identity sensitive subset and stores an audit log of the original data set. The audit log includes a date, a consumer identity, an identity of the original data set, and a plurality of evidences. Each of the evidence is one of the records of the released data set.

A context-awareness synchronization apparatus, method, and non-transitory computer readable storage medium are provided. The synchronization apparatus is electrically connected to a storage server via a network. The synchronization apparatus executes an operating system and an agent program installed on the operating system. The agent program configures a first and second individual spaces within the synchronization apparatus, determines a context of the synchronization apparatus, selects a first and second policy sets from a plurality of policy sets for the first and second individual spaces according to the context respectively, and handles the first and second individual spaces according to the first and second policy sets respectively. The first and second individual spaces are unaware of each other and only recognized by the agent program installed on the operating system. Each of the first and second policy sets includes a rule regarding synchronization between an individual space and the storage server.

A backup system and a backup method thereof are provided. The backup system includes an operational storage, a backup storage, a service client, a metadata server and a backup client. The service client accesses the operational storage according to an operational storage layout metadata and makes a data change to the operational storage to transmit a metadata update request. The metadata server receives the metadata update request from the service client, updates a local operational storage layout metadata in response to the data change according to the metadata update request, acknowledges the metadata update request and instructs the backup client to back up the data change of the operational storage to the backup storage according to the metadata update request.

The secure synchronization apparatus of the present invention includes a storage unit, an interface, and a processing unit. The interface is electrically connected to a storage server via a network. The processing unit is electrically connected to the storage unit and the interface. The processing unit is configured to execute an operating system and execute an agent program installed on the operating system. The agent program configures an isolated space, manages an extended space within the storage unit, and synchronizes an object between the isolated space, extended space, and the storage server through the interface. The isolated space and the extended space are only recognized by the agent program installed on the operating system and the object in the two spaces is accessible only via the agent program.

An object-sharing method used in a object sharing system is provided. The object-sharing method comprises the steps outlined below. An object-sharing request that intends to share an object in a first object storage to a second object storage is received. First and second object paths are compared. Whether a naming conflict condition occurs is determined. The second object storage receives the object and keeps the first object path when the naming conflict condition does not occur. The second object storage receives the object and merges the first and the second object paths when the naming conflict condition occurs and the first and the second object storages are from the same user. An alternative sharing destination is generated to receive the object when the naming conflict condition occurs and the first and the second object storages are not from the same user.

Object-sharing system, method and non-transitory computer readable storage medium for storing the method for maintaining hierarchical naming contexts in object sharing system

A system and a method for sharing online storage services among multiple users are provided. The system includes a user communication interface, a file processing module, and an online storage communication interface. The user communication interface is configured to connect to a client end corresponding to a first user. When the user communication interface receives a file upload request and a corresponding upload file from the client end, the file processing module searches for a personal online storage of the first user and a shared online storage of at least one related user of the first user and determines to upload the upload file to a partial online storage of the personal online storage and the shared online storage. The online storage communication interface transfers the upload file to the partial online storage determined by the file processing module.
