An elastically deformable suspension member for use in a speaker to establish a sufficient support to a cone is disclosed. The suspension member has an inner diameter portion for mounting the cone, an outer diameter portion spaced around the inner diameter portion for fastening to a basket, a first annular convex surface portion concentrically arranged between the inner diameter portion and the outer diameter portion and constituting a summit, and a number of second annular convex surface portions symmetrically arranged at two opposite lateral sides of the first annular convex surface portion between the inner diameter portion and the outer diameter portion and respectively constituting summit ridges having a height below the summit and above the elevations of the inner diameter portion and the outer diameter portion.

Suspension member for speaker

A speaker, which includes a basket holding an exciter, a holding down ring fastened to the basket to hold down a diaphragm, which has an annular suspension and a cone fastened to the inner diameter of the annular suspension and coupled to the exciter, and a locating plate capped on an annular positioning portion of the exciter and pressed on the center area of the cone with a beveled outer bearing surface to hold down the center area of the cone against vibration in transverse direction to prevent a distortion of sound.

An evenly elastically deformable damper for speaker is disclosed to include a damper body of a plain weave fabric having elastic warp wires and weft wires intercrossed in X and Y directions and a center through hole cut through the top and bottom surfaces and bonded to a voice coil, a plurality of reinforcing patches stitched to the damper body in a crossed manner around the center through hole of the damper body to secure lead wires to the damper body and formed of a plain weave fabric having elastic warp wires and weft wires intercrossed in direction A and direction B at about 45&#xb0; relative to X and Y directions to keep the damper body in balance and to prevent damage of the lead wires when vibrated with the voice coil.

Evenly elastically deformable damper for speaker

A reinforced speaker damper includes a ring-shaped damper body made of woven fabric in the form of a mesh and press-molded to form a wavy cross-section having alternating ridges and troughs. A plurality of reinforces is attached to the damper body. Each reinforce includes a woven fabric in the form of a mesh with rectangular openings extending in a direction different from that of the damper body and having a wavy cross-section for closely fitting over the wavy configuration of the damper body. Each reinforce is fixed to the damper body by for example sewing and extends between inner and outer circumferences of the ring of the damper body.

Reinforced speaker damper

A speaker having a locating ring mounted in an accommodating open chamber inside a basket to hold down a damper is disclosed. The basket has an annular bottom rib protruded from the bottom side of the accommodating open chamber around the center of the basket, and a plurality of radial reinforcing ribs formed integral with the annular bottom rib and radially extending over the annular bottom rib to the topmost edge of the basket and equiangularly spaced around the accommodating open chamber, each radial reinforcing rib having a groove extending along the length thereof inside the accommodating open chamber and a plurality of slots formed in the groove and cut through the annular bottom rib for guiding heat and noises out of the accommodating open chamber during operation of the speaker.

A speaker's damper is comprised of a main body and lead wires, in which the damper's main body is essentially a piece of woven cloth pressed in the form of an annular disk with a corrugated cutaway section while the lead wire is a metallic wire in texture properly interwoven in the damper's main body so that the jumping-rope phenomenon of the lead wire can be avoided when the damper's main body is in vibration. The lead wire is securely attached to the main body on the woven cloth and beneath a plurality of lifted-up cloth segments. Also, by means of a guide sleeve, two lead wires can be prevented from being short-circuited during vibration of the dampers main body.

A knockdown speaker. The speaker includes a magnetic circuit base, a casing, and a vibration unit. The magnetic circuit base is substantially a hollow body having a central projecting cylinder and fixing holes in its top rim. The vibration unit is composed of a funnel-shaped cone socket and a damper set, which are formed by combining a bottom end and a top end of the vibration unit respectively with a sound ring set or a piece of drum paper. The magnetic circuit base is mounted on the bottom rim of the casing. The vibration unit is jointed with the magnetic circuit base via the sound ring set arranged at the bottom end of the vibration unit to form a consolidated knockdown speaker.

A speaker damper comprises a damper casing and a metallic whisker, wherein the damper casing is substantially a woven pad formed as a circular wafer with corrugated sections, while the metallic whisker is substantially a conductive wire intermittently penetrated and buried in the damper casing. A fastening string is provided to tie the metallic whisker intermittently and hold it steadily to the damper casing without incurring the so-called repetitious jump-rope phenomenon during vibration of the later.

A tweeter support rack structure includes a tweeter body, a fixing base, and a support rack body. The tweeter body is fixed on the fixing base by a fixing screw. The fixing base has a top combined with the tweeter body, and a bottom combined with the support rack body. The bottom of the fixing base is provided with at least one locking ratchet. The support rack body has a top combined with the fixing base which may be rotated on the top of the support rack body. The top of the support rack body is provided with multiple locking teeth meshing with the locking ratchet of the fixing base.

A positioning device for a diaphragm of speakers includes an inner ring and an outer ring with a plurality of connection plates connected between the inner ring and the outer ring. The positioning device is attached to a side of the diaphragm and has a wave-shaped cross section which is complimentary to a shape of the diaphragm. The diaphragm is retained by the positioning device and will not shifts during operation.

A coil assembly for effectively raising output power of a speaker comprises a double-wall structure composed of an inner and an outer tubular wall, wherein a bottom end of the inner tubular wall is bent outwardly into a flat rim for stopping the outer tubular wall when the same is collared onto the inner tubular wall, and a choking slit is split longitudinally in the outer tubular wall to permit winding two or more layers of coil.
