A magazine well unit and a method are disclosed. The magazine well unit may have an upper portion having a firearm interface; a lower portion; a proximal portion; and a distal portion. The distal portion may have a magazine well to removably receive a box magazine. The magazine well may have at least one fore stop and at least one aft stop, the at least one fore stop and the at least one aft stop shaped to prevent the box magazine from passing beyond the upper portion of the magazine well unit. At least one of the fore stop or the aft stop may have an upper portion region having a surface for engaging the firearm.

A firearm and related methods and components are disclosed. The firearm has a chassis, a stock portion coupled to the chassis, and a pair of interchangeable plates removably coupled to the chassis. Each of the pair of interchangeable plates is attachable to the chassis at a first location and a second location opposing the first location. A first one of the pair of interchangeable plates has a recess for receiving a portion of a bolt handle. A second one of the pair of interchangeable plates has a firearm tool interface.

A lock system and related methods are disclosed. The lock mechanism has a lock plate configured to be positioned adjacent the distal side of a firearm floor plate. The lock plate has a base plate and a disengagement mechanism affixed to a proximal side of the base plate. The disengagement mechanism has a protrusion configured to extend into the passage of the floor plate when the floor plate and the lock plate abut one another. The protrusion has a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is shaped to extend into the passage of the floor plate. The second portion is shaped to extend through the passage of the floor plate and protrude from the proximal side of the floor plate.

A firearm and related methods and components are disclosed. The firearm has a chassis, a stock portion coupled to the chassis, and a pair of reversible plates removably coupled to the chassis. Each of the pair of reversible plates is attachable to the chassis at a first location and a second location opposing the first location. Adjustable buttstock for a firearm

A padded strap is provided, which comprises a unitary strap member forming a tube and an inserted pad. The unitary strap member has at least two sections, at least one of the sections configured to form a pad casing section which can retain the inserted pad, and the another section comprising a substantially flat section abutting the pad casing section. The area between the pad casing section and the substantially flat section comprises a hollow, tapering transition area. The unitary strap member comprises at least one sealable opening at an end of the unitary strap member. The inserted pad is inserted through the sealable opening and retained in the pad casing section, and the pad is comprised of at least one outer layer of resilient, low-friction material and a cushioning layer.
