A multi-channel microfluidic device for multi-parallel analyte detection includes a substrate and a multi-channel microfluidic assembly formed in the substrate. The multi-channel microfluidic assembly comprises a synchronized port; a plurality of separate ports; a plurality of channels arranged in parallel, where each of the plurality of channels includes a first end and a second end opposite to the first end; a first branch channel assembly; and a plurality of second branch assemblies. The synchronized port is connected with all the first ends of the plurality of the channels via the first branch channel assembly. Each of the plurality of the separate ports is in connection with the second end of each of the plurality of the channels via each of the plurality of the second branch channel assemblies.

Multi-channel microfluidic device and method for using the same

A remote control device comprising a motion detector consisting of a single accelerometer, means for receiving data from the motion detector and mapping the received motion detector data to at least one user instruction, and means for transmitting a signal indicative of the at least one user instruction.

The claimed invention relates to an interactive television system including a controller for converting the hand motion of the user into acceleration data of three axes by a single 3-axis accelerometerand an interactive system for mapping the output of the acceleration data with the pre-defined data in a motion database thereof so that the user can remotely control the TV centric devices with a reduced set of instructions. The claimed invention also relates to a method of using a controller incorporated with a single 3-axis accelerometer to control an interactive system for TV centric devices.
