A system, method and computer readable storage medium for generating a context driven summary view of medical findings by retrieving a current study including at least one image to be analyzed, extracting current context information from the current study and storing the current context information in a database and matching the current context information with prior context information from prior studies to return a set of relevant prior studies.

Context driven summary view of radiology findings

A system for correlating patient radiology and pathology reports to track discordance among radiology and pathology diagnoses includes a natural language processor engine which extracts radiological information and pathology information. A correlation module correlates the radiology information and pathology information in a specific time period. A visualization graphical user interface indicates the correlation of radiology information and pathology information in a patient history. A tracking module which tracks misdiagnosis cases.

System and method for correlation of pathology reports and radiology reports

A clinical decision support (CDS) system comprises: a case grouping sub-system () including a graphical user interface () that is operative to simultaneously display data representing a plurality of patient cases and further configured to enable a user to group selected patient cases represented by the simultaneously displayed data into clinically related groups () as selected by the user; a probative features determination sub-system () that is operative to determine probative features () that correlate with the clinically related groups; and a CDS user interface () that is operative to receive current patient data relating to a current patient case and to output clinical decision support information based on values of the probative features determined from the received current patient data.

Clinical decision support systems and methods

When automatically populating medical report templates, insertable macros are indexed and searched not only my name or title but also by contents, such as keywords times, pre-defined terms for key information included in the macro, free texts in the macros, etc. When a unique macro is found, the system inserts the text of the macro into the report being generated. If multiple related macros are found, the system highlights the macros for user review. After the insertion of the macro into the template, the system identifies pre-defined terms and fills in the key information value(s). The system thus facilitates, e.g., radiologists' observation reporting procedure through an intelligent matching algorithm that facilitates finding a unique macro, which in turn aids in filling in report field instance values and optimizes radiology workflow.

System and method for content-based medical macro sorting and search system

A system and method for context-dependent data filtering for clinical decision support are disclosed. The system and method comprise determining values for characteristics of a present case, determining whether the present case is a special case based on the determined values, receiving input from a user verifying that the present case is the special case and saving the present case to a database containing a compilation of cases if the user verifies that the present case is the special case.
