This application provides a method including: determining, according to a resource allocation rule, downlink reference signal resources corresponding to a plurality of first resources used to carry an uplink reference signal in a plurality of uplink reference signal resources, where each uplink reference signal resource includes one or more first resources; determining, based on the downlink reference signal resource corresponding to each first resource, a precoding matrix corresponding to each first resource; and then sending a precoded uplink reference signal, where the precoded uplink reference signal is obtained by precoding the uplink reference signal based on the precoding matrix corresponding to each first resource.

CSI measurement method and apparatus

This application provides a channel state information (CSI) measurement method and an apparatus. The method includes: A network device receives, from a terminal, a first reference signal (RS) used to measure uplink CSI and a second RS used to measure the uplink CSI. The first RS includes one or more RS ports, and the one or more RS ports correspond to one or more antenna ports of the terminal. Correspondingly, the second RS includes one or more RS ports, and the one or more RS ports also correspond to one or more antenna ports of the terminal. In addition, the one or more antenna ports, of the terminal, corresponding to the one or more RS ports included in the second RS are partially or completely the same as the one or more antenna ports, of the terminal, corresponding to the one or more RS ports included in the first RS.

This application provides a communication method, a terminal device, and a network device, to improve accuracy of CSI measurement. This application provides a CSI measurement method and apparatus. In the method, a terminal may send, to a network device, a first RS that occupies a plurality of frequency domain resource segments in one time domain unit, where the plurality of frequency domain resource segments are discontinuously distributed on a frequency band of the terminal, and the network device receives the first RS on a corresponding frequency domain resource segment, and measures CSI based on the first RS. Currently, to avoid channel aging, a method is to shorten an SRS periodicity. Because frequency domain resources occupied by the SRS are continuously distributed on an entire frequency band, this method leads to a waste of time-frequency resources. However, the first RS in this application is discontinuously distributed on a frequency band of the terminal, and a relatively small quantity of time-frequency resources are occupied.

A terminal device receives a DMRS and data from a network device. The DMRS and the data undergo Alamouti coding in space domain and frequency domain, or the DMRS and the data undergo Alamouti coding in space domain and time domain, and a DMRS obtained through the Alamouti coding is mapped to a first DMRS port and a second DMRS port. A modulation symbol of the first DMRS port is related to a modulation symbol of the second DMRS port. The terminal device demodulates the data based on the DMRS. Therefore, the DMRS corresponds to a transmission scheme of the data, to help the terminal device demodulate the data. This can reduce interference estimation complexity of the terminal device.

Data receiving method, data sending method, and communications apparatus

This application provides a data transmission method, so that data transmission reliability can be improved. The method includes: receiving, by the terminal device, a plurality of reference signals used for channel measurement; and sending, by the terminal device, a plurality of pieces of first indication information based on the at least one reference signal and a transmission scheme on which CSI feedback is based, where the plurality of pieces of first indication information are used to indicate x target precoding matrices, at least one of the plurality of pieces of first indication information is used to indicate one target precoding matrix, and the x target precoding matrices are determined based on the plurality of precoding matrices, where x is a quantity of target precoding matrices that need to be fed back, and x is an integer greater than 1.

The application provides a beam training method and a communications apparatus. The method includes: generating, by a terminal device, capability indication information, where the capability indication information is used to indicate that the terminal device can support simultaneous beam training in a maximum of N frequency bands, and N is an integer greater than or equal to 1; and sending, by the terminal device, the capability indication information. In this way, the network device may select a plurality of frequency bands at a time based on a capability of the terminal device to simultaneously perform beam training. Therefore, in an embodiments of this application, when the quantity N, of frequency bands for simultaneous training, supported by the terminal device is greater than 1, beam training may be simultaneously performed between the network device and the terminal device in a plurality of frequency bands.

The method includes: for a to-be-measured frequency band that includes at least one reporting subband and 0 or more non-reporting subbands, obtaining channel state information of each reporting subband, where the channel state information of each reporting subband is obtained based on channel estimation, and the at least one reporting subband is included in reporting subbands that are contiguous in frequency domain, or the at least one reporting subband is included in reporting subbands that are not contiguous in frequency domain; and sending a measurement report of the to-be-measured frequency band to a transmit end device, where the measurement report includes the channel state information of one or more of the at least one reporting subband.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a channel measurement method. The method may include receiving, by a terminal device, a first group of precoded reference signals and a second group of precoded reference signals.
