At least one corner electrode of the end electrodes which is located in a corner on one of four sides of the detection part where the output part is located has an area that is less than an area of other end electrodes.

A printer includes a print head, a platen roller, a frame, a release lever, and a spring. The print head performs printing on recording paper. The platen roller conveys the recording paper held between the platen roller and the print head. The print head and the platen roller are placed on the frame. The frame includes a side plate in which a frame groove is formed. The release lever moves relative to the frame. The spring is provided between the frame and the print head to urge the print head toward the platen roller. The platen roller is placed on the frame while being held between the frame groove and the release lever. The release lever moves to unblock the frame groove.

A printer includes a platen roller, a first pulley connected to the shaft of the platen roller, a motor, a second pulley connected to the shaft of the motor, and a belt wrapped around the first pulley and the second pulley. At least one of the first pulley and the second pulley has a variable diameter.

An electromagnetic relay includes a coil, an armature, an iron core, a card, a first contact, and a second contact. The card is connected to the armature and formed of an insulating material. The first contact and the second contact are in contact when there is no flow of electric current through the coil. The first contact and the second contact are separated with the armature being attracted to the iron core to interpose the card between the first contact and the second contact when there is a flow of electric current through the coil.

A disclosed header connectable to a receptacle includes a first contact including a pair of first plate portions, which are electrically conductive and are separated by an interval, and a plate-like conductive member which is conductive and is accommodated between the pair of first plate portions.

A connector including a contact member and a housing. The contact member includes a spring part having a length variable in an axial direction, and a contact part extending from an axial end of the spring part and adapted to be pushed against and electrically connected to a counterpart flat contact. The spring part includes a slanted meandering portion provided with a plurality of major arms spaced from each other in the axial direction and generally slanted with respect to the axial direction. The slanted meandering portion is adapted to be elastically deformed so as to narrow a space between the major arms by a contact pressure applied from the counterpart flat contact to the contact part. The contact part is adapted to be displaced so as to slide on the counterpart flat contact by an elastic deformation of the slanted meandering portion.
