A urethane resin composition including an anionic urethane resin (X) and water (Y), in which the anionic urethane resin (X) is produced using a polyol (a) including a biomass-derived polycarbonate polyol (a1), a polyisocyanate (b), and an alkanolamine (c), as essential raw materials. A water-containing urethane resin composition that is produced using a biomass raw material and excellent in oleic acid resistance, texture, and liquid mixture stability. A urethane resin composition including: a urethane resin (A) having an anionic group and a nonionic group and produced using as a raw material a polycarbonate polyol (a1) produced using biomass-derived decanediol as a raw material; a nonionic emulsifier (B); and water (C). A leather sheet in which a coagulated product of the urethane resin composition is present in a fibrous substrate. Both the urethane resin (A) and the nonionic emulsifier (B) preferably have an oxyethylene group and an oxypropylene group.

A method for producing a porous material includes processing a urethane resin composition containing a urethane resin (A) and a solvent (B) by a wet film forming process, in which the solvent (B) satisfies the following conditions: a difference between a Hansen solubility parameter of the solvent (B) (B-HSP) and a Hansen solubility parameter of the urethane resin (A) (A-HSP) is in the range of 3 to 8 (J/cm)and a difference between the Hansen solubility parameter of the solvent (B) (B-HSP) and a Hansen solubility parameter of water (W-HSP) is in the range of 31.5 to 38 (J/cm). The Hansen solubility parameter of the solvent (B) preferably has a dispersion term (&#x3b4;D) in the range of 15.5 to 21.0 MPa, a polar term (&#x3b4;P) in the range of 7.0 to 14.5 MPa, and a hydrogen bond term (&#x3b4;H) in the range of 4.5 to 11.0 MPa.

Porous-object production method

The present invention is directed to a method for producing a semi-IPN composite, including: mixing a polyurethane (A) and a polymerization product (B) of a hydrophilic acrylic monomer (b1) and an acrylic monomer (b2) having a hydrolyzable silyl group; and causing the polymerization product (B) to undergo crosslinking. The hydrophilic acrylic monomer (b1) preferably includes an acrylic monomer (b1-1) having an amide group and an acrylic monomer (b1-2) having an oxyethylene group. Further, the polymerization ratio (molar ratio) of the acrylic monomer (b1-1) having an amide group, the acrylic monomer (b1-2) having an oxyethylene group, and the acrylic monomer (b2) having a hydrolyzable silyl group {(b1-1)/(b1-2)/(b2)} is preferably in the range of 50/49.5/0.5 to 89/1/10.
