An inflatable flotation device for use by persons in a swimming or wading pool includes an inflatable floating chamber for providing buoyancy in water. A bottom seat is provided for supporting a person. The bottom seat includes a pair of penetrations formed therein for enabling the person to extend their legs through the bottom seat. A pair of inflatable arches are removably attached to the inflatable floating chamber, and a canopy is affixed to the inflatable arches for blocking sunlight. At least one of the inflatable arches is removable from the inflatable floating chamber for facilitating entry into and exit from the inflatable floating chamber. An alternative embodiment of the inflatable flotation device having a removable canopy exhibits a construction in which the canopy is fully detachable from the inflatable floating chamber.

An inflatable bed includes an inflatable mattress that is attached to the top surface of an inflatable air box spring. An inflatable, stabilizing tube is attached to the bottom of the air box spring to provide additional stability and height by increasing the footprint of the inflatable bed. The interiors of the inflatable mattress and air box spring contain a plurality of I-beam structures arranged longitudinally to provide further support and stability. Alternatively, the inflatable mattress is separate and detachable and can be fastened to the top surface of the air box spring. An additional stabilizing tube is attached to the periphery of the top surface of the air box spring to cradle and support the detachable inflatable mattress.

Inflatable bed

A large capacity reinforced swimming pool for use in an above-the-ground environment includes a flexible plastic liner for containing water. The liner includes a continuous sidewall and a bottom wall bonded to the sidewall by a joining seam. The continuous sidewall is formed from a partial outer layer and a partial inner layer. An inflatable top ring is mounted to the top of the sidewall for supporting the liner in an upright position. A continuous reinforcing layer is bonded to the continuous sidewall with a first plurality of continuous reinforcing seals for reinforcing the sidewall. A second plurality of continuous reinforcing seals located at an interface between the partial outer layer and the partial inner layer of the sidewall functions to reinforce the sidewall. Each of the first and second plurality of continuous reinforcing seals includes at least two seals.

An inflatable mattress comprises a flexible bottom layer, a top layer sealed to the bottom layer through a wall, wherein the bottom and top layers and the wall define an outer frame of the inflatable mattress, and a middle layer disposed between the top and bottom layers. The bottom surface of the middle layer is sealed to the bottom layer through a plurality of laterally disposed I-beam structures to form a lower chamber. The top surface is attached to the top layer through a plurality of X-beam structures to form an upper chamber. A peripheral edge of the middle layer may be sealed with the wall to prevent the upper and lower chambers from being in fluid communication with each other. Alternatively, the peripheral edge may be detached from the wall so that the upper and lower chambers are in fluid communication with each other.

Inflatable mattress

An inflatable play structure comprises at least one inflatable house defining a cavity for accommodating a child and an inflatable tunnel detachably attached to the house. The house includes two side walls and front and rear walls connected together to form a continuous wall, and support tubes placed at each corner of the two side walls and front and rear walls. The house has a first access opening and a first one flap extending from a lower portion of the wall having a pair of hook and loop fasteners. The inflatable tunnel has two arched tubes erected from and affixed to a bottom wall defining a first opening and a second opening. The tunnel includes at least one open window and a second flap extending along the bottom wall and having a pair of hook and loop fasteners aligned with corresponding hook and loop fasteners of the house.

An air pump is a dual action manually driven with a piston and two intake and two exhaust check values that respectively operate with one intake port and one exhaust port. These check valves operate in tandem with each other during each pumping stroke, either up or down. During each pumping stroke, one intake check valve and one exhaust check valve are open with their counterparts closed, to provide continuous discharge of compressed air through the exhaust port and also to provide continuous intake of air through the intake port. The air pump includes a cylindrically shaped hollow reservoir housing, a base connected to one end of the housing, an intake port and an exhaust or inflate port which are mounted on the base, an elongated piston shaft extending along the longitudinal axis of the housing, and a handle perpendicularly disposed with respect to the piston shaft to assist pumping of the piston shaft.

Dual action air pump

A drain valve adapter is for use with a hose and a drain valve mounted to a container, wherein the drain valve of the container defines a passageway for aqueous solution. The drain valve adapter comprises a tubular body having a mating member and a plunger member which are in fluid communication with each other, the plunger member being configured to be disposed inside the drain valve along the passageway. The drain valve further comprises a ring cap defining a through hole and being disposed in surrounding relation to the tubular body for releasably engaging the drain valve. The plunger member has at least one prong extending therefrom to force open a drain plug blocking the passageway of the drain valve. Preferably, the plunger member has a plurality of prongs extending therefrom. The plurality of prongs define spaces therebetween to allow free flow of the aqueous solution in the container. The mating member has a threaded outer surface for engaging with a female coupler of a standard garden hose. Alternatively, the mating member has a plurality of compression fit sleeves of varying diameters for engaging hoses having various conduit diameters.

Inflatable furniture

A sun shade pool typically used by small children in an above-the-ground environment for use in the out-of-doors and method therefore is disclosed which is directed to an inflatable pool and a removable sun shade canopy mounted upon the inflatable pool for blocking direct sun light. The inflatable pool can be multiple-tiered in height and include a bottom wall. The removable sun shade canopy is attachable to and detachable from a top surface of the inflatable pool by a plurality of hook and loop fasteners. The sun shade pool can be fashioned from polyvinylchloride sheeting, include a plurality of inflation air valves for inflating the pool and canopy, and a drain plug for rapidly draining water from the pool. In its most fundamental embodiment, the sun shade pool exhibits a construction including an inflatable pool having a sidewall sealed to a bottom wall for containing a fluid. A removable sun shade canopy for covering a top surface of the inflatable pool is also included. The canopy incorporates a pair of inflatable arched tubes attachably and detachably mounted to the top surface of the inflatable pool by a plurality of hook and loop fasteners. A sun blocking fabric is also suspended between the pair of inflatable arched tubes.

An article of inflatable furniture having independent air chambers for supporting body weight and typically used in the domestic environment includes a plurality of air pressurized subchambers particularly positioned within an outer enclosing chamber for modify the shape of the outer enclosing chamber to obtain a cushioned, roll-up effect in the article of furniture. The article of inflatable furniture includes a bottom layer and an pressurized outer enclosing chamber sealed to the bottom layer. A seating surface is formed on the outer enclosing chamber for supporting the body weight of a person. A pair of independent, air pressurized subchambers are sealed to the bottom layer and extend upward into the outer enclosing chamber. The subchambers serve to increase the pressure within the outer enclosing chamber and to modify the shape of the outer enclosing chamber. A first alternative embodiment teaches the construction as applied to an inflatable sofa while a second alternative embodiment teaches the construction as applied to an inflatable mattress.
