The present disclosure relates to air assemblies having an inflation, a deflation, and a closed state for use with inflatable products, such as air mattresses. An automated system and method are disclosed for producing an inflatable product having a first sheet, a second sheet, and a plurality of tensioning structures between the first and second sheets. The system includes an upstream tensioning structure production subsystem that produces the tensioning structures and a downstream preassembly production subsystem that couples the tensioning structures to the first and second sheets. The subsystems may operate simultaneously to produce the inflatable product in an automated, efficient, and repeatable manner.

An inflatable product includes an integrated axial-flow pump which produces a high rate of inflation. The pump includes a cover mounted to a body of the pump and selectively configurable between open and closed positions. In the open position, air is allowed to flow between the inflatable chamber and the ambient air through the pump body. When the cover is closed, the air chamber of the inflatable product is sealed with respect to the ambient air such that air is retained within the inflatable chamber when inflated. A power switch is positioned to be deactivated by the cover when the cover is mounted to the body of the pump, such that replacement of the cover during inflation or deflation of the inflatable product automatically deactivates the pump.

A frame pool is disclosed including a frame assembly and a pool liner, the frame assembly including horizontal frame members and a vertical frame member coupled together via a T-shaped joint. The T-shaped joint may be constructed of plastic to facilitate attachment and detachment to the adjacent frame members and to resist galling and corrosion.
