In a power supply device, switching section switch a connection between batteries to a series connection or a parallel connection. In a case where the connection between the batteries is switched from the series connection to the parallel connection to charge the batteries by an external charger, a controller does not switch the connection to the parallel connection, does not charge one battery having a larger voltage out of the batteries, and separately charges the other battery when a potential difference between a voltage of the battery and a voltage of the battery is a predetermined threshold value or higher; and the controller switches the connection to the parallel connection and charges the batteries when the potential difference is lower than the threshold value.

Power supply device

In a semiconductor module, semiconductor chips are each provided with a drain portion on one of a pair of surfaces facing each other, and a source portion and a gate portion on the other surface. Substrates each include three power supply patterns capable of transmitting power supplied from a power supply, and at least two signal patterns capable of transmitting a control signal. The three power supply patterns and the two signal patterns extend in parallel to each other along a first direction. Among the three power supply patterns, two of them are capable of mounting the semiconductor chips and connectable to the drain portions of the mounted semiconductor chips, and remaining one of them is connectable to the source portions of the semiconductor chips. The two signal patterns are connectable to the gate portions of the semiconductor chips.

An ID setting device includes: an output circuit configured to output, as serial data, an ID to be set in an ECU, which is an ID setting target; an input circuit to which an ID that is set is input as serial data from the ECU; and a control unit configured to check the ID output by the output circuit and the ID input to the input circuit against each other. The serial data has a duty cycle which is according to setting data on a per bit basis.

When an anomaly is determined in the transition of ECUs to a power saving state, a power supply control system sequentially turns on current supply switches while keeping a bypass switch on. When supplying electric power to a load from a power supply via a parallel circuit of two electrical wires having the same wiring resistance, a vehicular power supply control device uses a current measurement unit in intelligent power devices (IPDs) to measure a passing current flowing in a semiconductor switching device in each of the electrical wires. Then, in order to match the temperatures of the electrical wires as estimated by a present temperature estimation unit base on the measured current, a target duty ratio in a PWM control for reducing the passing current in the semiconductor switching device of the IPD on one electrical wire is calculated in a target duty ratio calculation unit, and the semiconductor switching device of the one IPD is turned on and off by a PWM/DC control and shutoff determination unit with the calculated target duty ratio.

Vehicular power supply control device and a controlling method of the same

A vehicle load control device repeats a determination state in which at least one of a plurality of switching elements is turned off from an initial state in which the switching elements are all in an ON state until all of the switching elements have different ON/OFF states, and determines a connection form for each connection portion based on the change between an initial current value detected in the initial state and a determination current value detected for each determination state.

A load drive circuit shuts off power supply to a load when a semiconductor relay is off. The load drive circuit includes: the semiconductor relay which is turned off when a predetermined operation voltage cannot be secured; a low-voltage detection circuit which detects that the operation voltage is a predetermined value or less; a negative-voltage generation circuit which generates a negative voltage; and a switch unit which is turned on and connects between the negative-voltage generation circuit and a ground terminal of the semiconductor relay, in a case where the low-voltage detection circuit detects that the operation voltage is the predetermined value or less.

Load drive circuit

A lighting system which can obtain a relaxing effect of the fluctuation of color and brightness regardless of the appearance thereof is provided. The lighting system has a light source emitting illumination light, a memory section storing a lighting signal indicating the illumination light, a reading section reading the lighting signal from the memory section, and a control section controlling the light source based on the lighting signal read by the memory section. The lighting signal is a signal representing at least one of fluctuation of color and brightness in the illumination light by using synthetic waves in which a plurality of waves having different frequencies are synthesized.
