A fan-equipped motor includes: a motor for rotating a spindle, the motor including a hollow-shaped motor shaft in which a through hole is formed; and a fan for cooling the motor, the fan including a hollow-shaped rotary shaft in which a through hole is formed, and a plurality of blades attached to the rotary shaft, the fan being disposed on the side of the motor that is opposite to the spindle. The motor shaft and the rotary shaft are disposed so that cooling air produced by the fan flows in a different passage and in a different direction from a gas supplied into the through hole of the rotary shaft and flowing in the through hole of the motor shaft.

Fan-equipped motor

A motor able to prevent axial displacement of a rotor in a simple structure without increasing the number of parts of the motor. The motor includes a rotor including a shaft, a housing configured to support the shaft rotatably and movably in a limited manner in an axial direction, a flange disposed on an axially outside of the housing and configured to rotate integrally with the shaft, the flange projecting radially outward from the shaft and being configured to prevent a foreign object from entering the housing, and a temporary tacking structure provided in at least one of the flange and the housing, and configured to temporarily tack the housing and the flange to each other in the axial direction.

Motor with shaft movable in limited manner, and machine tool

A motor, to which a rotary joint supporting structure for supporting a rotary joint is attached, turns a spindle. The motor includes a motor housing, a rotary shaft having a hollow shape and penetrating through the motor housing in the axial direction of the spindle, a flinger integrally attached to the rotary shaft outside the motor housing and disposed on the side to which the rotary joint supporting structure is attached, and a peripheral wall provided on the motor housing and projecting in the axial direction of the spindle so as to surround the periphery of the flinger. A plurality of cutouts are formed in the peripheral wall so as to establish communication between the interior and the exterior of the peripheral wall.

Motor and spindle protection structure

A motor, to which a rotary joint supporting structure is attached, turns a spindle. The motor includes a motor housing, a rotary shaft that is hollow, the flinger that is integrally attached to the rotary shaft outside the motor housing, and a peripheral wall that is provided in the motor housing and projects in the axial direction of a spindle so as to surround the periphery of the flinger. The peripheral wall has cutouts in its side surface so as to establish communication between the interior and exterior of the peripheral wall, to thereby form protrusions projecting in the axial direction of the rotary shaft and an annular top plate portion provided on the distal end of the protrusions.

An electric motor includes a stator having a tubular shape, a rotor rotatable around a rotary axis and having a rotary spindle, a first housing part disposed so as to partially house the rotary spindle, a second housing part disposed at the other end of the stator in the rotary axis direction, a third housing part at a side opposite to the first housing part in the rotary axis direction with respect to the second housing part, a plurality of ventilation parts formed so as to communicate with at least the stator, the second housing part, and the third housing part, and a plurality of fans for ventilating the plurality of ventilation parts, the plurality of fans being disposed in the third housing part on a plane perpendicular to the rotary axis so as not to overlap the rotary axis.

Provided is a motor enabling more simple and efficient cleaning of the inside of an air path. The motor includes a stator, a housing which holds the stator, a fan arranged outside the stator, a fan cover which houses the fan and is mounted on the housing, an air path including an inlet and an outlet for a cooling gas, and a first cleaning hole extending from a first opening that faces and opens to the air path at a position closer to the outlet than the inlet to a second opening which opens to the outside.

A rolling bearing system provided with an inner ring including a first raceway surface, an outer ring including a second raceway surface, a rolling element retained between the inner ring and the outer ring and capable of rolling along the first raceway surface and the second raceway surface, and a lubricant storage section incorporated in a bearing structure. The lubricant storage section includes a grease tank arranged between the inner and outer rings for storing a grease, and a grease pressing mechanism for pushing the grease stored in the grease tank out of the grease tank to supply the grease to the rolling element and the first and second raceway surfaces. The inner ring includes a first extending surface adjoining the first raceway surface, and the outer ring includes a second extending surface adjoining the second raceway surface and facing the first extending surface. The grease tank is housed in an annular space defined between the first and second extending surfaces.

Rolling bearing system

An air-cooled motor has a motor body in which a through hole is formed in a rotary shaft, a supply section for supplying a fluid to the through hole, a cylindrical member surrounding the supply section, and a cooling fan provided on the side opposite the motor body with respect to the cylindrical member. A window is provided in the cylindrical member or at least a part of the cylindrical member is made of a transparent material so that the supply section can be visually observed.

Air-cooled motor

A spindle protective structure in a spindle-through coolant feeder capable of preventing coolant form invading a spindle and a spindle motor for an excessive overflow of coolant. Coolant is supplied into a through hole formed axially in the spindle or a shaft connected to the spindle through a stationary member and a rotary member of a rotary joint supported by a housing. A seal member having elasticity is provided on a circumferential surface of the spindle or the shaft. Coolant which leaks through the seal member is splashed by a fringer provided in the housing. When a large amount of coolant is overflowed in the housing, a pressure of the coolant in a first chamber of the housing increases to press a lip of the seal member towards the circumferential surface of the spindle or the shaft to prevent leakage of coolant into a second chamber of the housing. Thus, the excessive overflow of coolant is prevented from invading the spindle and the spindle motor for a long enough time for an operator to take countermeasure for the leakage of coolant.
