A touch panel includes a sensor unit. The sensor unit includes a base film stretched by heat, an electrode portion, which is made of a mixture of a conductive material and a thermoplastic resin and is formed on at least one surface of the base film, and a stretching supporting layer made of a thermoplastic resin to cover the electrode portion.

Touch panel and manufacturing method thereof

A touch panel having a noise guiding member for guiding noise current such as static electricity generated during operating is provided. The noise guiding member is made of a metal material, and is arranged in a position that a front surface side end portion does not project from a front surface of a housing unit. In a state that a back surface side end portion is connected to the ground G, the noise guiding member passes through a back surface from the front surface of the housing unit. The touch panel can reduce manufacturing costs without design restriction, and control adverse effect subjecting by noise current due to external discharge such as static electricity generated when operating the touch panel.

Provided is a touch panel having superior impact resistance and good design on an operation face side without a decorative layer. The touch panel is manufactured by providing a cover member on an operation face of the substrate and at an inner side of a lead-out line wiring region so as to avoid lead-out lines of the first electrodes and the second electrodes, and forming a housing portion by insert injection molding using resin material to the step portion created by disposing the cover member, so as to make a front face of the housing portion flush with a front face of the cover member, and so as to sandwich an outer edge of the substrate from upper and lower sides.

Provided is a touch panel having superior impact resistance and good design on an operation face side without a decorative layer. The touch panel is manufactured by forming a cut out portion at an outer edge of a substrate on an operation face side of the substrate so as to cover a lead-out line wiring region of lead-out lines of first electrodes and second electrodes, and forming a housing portion by insert injection molding using resin material so as to sandwich the outer edge of the substrate from upper and lower sides with an operation region of a sensor unit being a front face side, and such that the cut out portion is covered and a front face of the housing portion is arranged flush with the operation face of the substrate.

An anode substrate for a display device which is made of a glass plate and of which an inner surface formed thereon with color filters is smoothed with a smoothing layer. The anode substrate is subject to a heating treatment during manufacturing thereof is provided. The anode substrate includes at least one smoothing layer made of low-melting glass and formed on the inner surface of the glass plate. The low-melting glass has a softening point lower than a distortion point of the glass plate and a distortion point equal to or higher than a heating temperature in the subsequent step. A method for manufacturing the anode substrate is also disclosed.
