A valve device has an outer valve casing externally fitted to an existing fluid pipe, an inner valve casing housed in the outer valve casing and an inner packing for sealing a gap between them. The inner packing includes an annular portion mounted along a periphery of an upper side surface of the inner valve casing and a plurality of U-shaped portions extending downward from the annular portion and to be mounted over an entire length from a side surface to a bottom surface of the inner valve casing. An enclosed space sandwiched between an inner surface of the outer valve casing and an outer surface of the inner valve casing is formed between the U-shaped portions that are adjacent to each other. The inner packing is provided with a connecting portion for connecting the plurality of U-shaped portions to one another.

Valve device

There is provided a coated expandable-contractible flexible pipe capable of properly securing the anti-corrosive performance without damaging a coating even in the case where the coated expandable-contractible flexible pipe coated with the coating oscillates or expands/contracts. The coated expandable-contractible flexible pipe includes: an expandable-contractible flexible pipe having a pair of joints to be connected to a fluid pipe and a connecting pipe for connecting the joints to each other, the pair of joints being mutually oscillatable and expandable/contractible; and a resin or rubber coating that coats the expandable-contractible flexible pipe. The coating includes a joint coating portion in close contact with the joint, a pipe coating portion in close contact with the connecting pipe, and a looseness portion formed between the joint coating portion and the pipe coating portion so as to allow the oscillation or expansion of the expandable-contractible flexible pipe.

Coated expandable-contractible flexible pipe

An extendable and contractible flexible joint having a pair of flexible joint portions, which are bendable and fitted and connected to a connection sleeve, in a direction of a pipe axial line. An extending motion limiting portion includes a fluid chamber into which a portion of a pressure fluid in a flow path diverges and flows, and is configured to apply a fluid pressure applied to pressure receiving surfaces of the fluid chamber. An inner joint body of each of both the flexible joint portions is configured to be attachable and detachable to and from the connection sleeve, and an outer joint body and the inner joint body of each of both the flexible joint portions are configured to be attachable and detachable to and from each other.

Extendable and contractible flexible joint

A pipe joint is provided with a pressing ring, a pipe or a pipe joint body having a containing section, a tightening element, and a packing ring compressed by being pressed by the pressing ring moved by the operation of the tightening element. The packing ring includes a base section fitted and mounted in the containing section at a rear thereof, a seal section contained within the containing section at a front thereof, and a connection section which connects the base section and the seal section and has a cutout groove. When the packing ring positioned by fitting and mounting the base section in the containing section at the rear thereof is subjected to pressing by the pressing ring, the seal section is bent into the cutout groove and is deformed, and compression caused by the deformation creates a sealed state.
