An opening device of a liquid food container includes a bottom, a main body, and a top part joined to an upper end of the main body and formed with thermoplastic resin. The top part has a lid integrally moulded with thermoplastic resin. The lid divides the top part and includes weakening lines, a first lid part, a second lid part, and a gripper. A first hinge is formed between the first lid part and the second lid part, the weakening lines are cut when the gripper is pulled up, and the-first lid part rotates on the-first hinge such that the weakening lines open narrowly. A second hinge is formed in an edge of the second lid part, the weakening lines are cut by further pulling the gripper, and the second lid part rotates on the second hinge such that the weakening lines open more widely.

Opening device for liquid food container and liquid food container

An opening device for straws for liquid food containers enables a straw hole to be easily opened by piercing with a straw while avoiding easy leakage or breakage due to external force from vibrations or the like during delivery. The device includes a base and a main body, formed from packaging material, both sides of the base paper of which have been laminated with thermoplastic resin and a top, formed from thermoplastic resin, which is joined to the top of the main body. An opening of the opening device for straws, integrated with the top section, is provided with a plurality of step sections and between-step sections on the front and back surfaces. The front between-step sections and the back between-step sections overlap at the edge of each of the step sections, with the thickness at the edge of the between-step sections being thinner than that of the steps.

A packaging filling apparatus, which can obtain the most suitable sealing quality by an automatic control without checking the condition of the sealing by the operator on a regular basis, is provided. A transversal sealing apparatus 48 of the packaging filling apparatus includes a high-frequency oscillator, controller, and an inductor, which generates a magnet field in packaging material by receiving the output from the high-frequency oscillator, and is provided with a sealing quality control means, which transmits a control signal to the controller, based on a statistical relation between a plurality of effect factors affecting the quality of a transversal sealingand the quality of transversal sealing.

When using web-shaped packaging material in which the rear end of a packaging material is spliced to the front end of a next web-shaped packaging material, in order to continuously operate the filling machine for paper container, notches are provided on a corner portion of the paper spliced portion around the metal layer. Even if a paper spliced portion is included in the web-shaped packaging material, in the filling machine seal insufficiency is not generated in the longitudinal seal of the paper spliced portions, and an interruption due to the broken part of continuous operation is prevented.

Flaw detection apparatus includes an electrode disposed in a region surrounded by a packaging material including a layer of an electrically-conductive material; a cutting member made of an electrically-conductive material and adapted to cut a predetermined portion of the packaging material; a variable detector, disposed between the electrode and the cutting member, for detecting an electrical variable; and flaw detection processor for reading the detected variable and for determining, on the basis of the detected variable, a flaw in the packaging material. In this case, the variable detector is disposed between the electrode and the cutting member.

Flaw detector

The packaging container includes a container body formed from a packaging material, and a cap unit attached to a top wall of the container body. The cap unit includes a lip, a pull tab which covers a discharge opening and an inner tape which covers the discharge opening portion from a reverse side of the packaging material. Since the cap is attached to the packaging material in advance of forming the container, positioning of the container body is not required for cap attachment.

An object is to provide a liquid-removing apparatus capable of sufficiently removing liquid adhering to packaging material (). The liquid-removing apparatus includes a packaging material () having a projection formed at a predetermined position; first and second squeeze rollers () which form a squeeze portion (P) for removing liquid adhering to the packaging material (); and an elastic body. The second squeeze roller () has main roller portions () and a retractable roller portion () which retracts when the projection reaches the squeeze portion (P). The elastic body urges a tubular sleeve () provided on the retractable roller portion () toward the packaging material (). When the projection reaches the squeeze portion (P) during transportation of the packaging material (), the sleeve () is pushed by the projection and thereby decentered, so that the retractable roller portion () is retracted. As a result, interference between the projection and the second squeeze roller () is prevented, and the packaging material () can be nipped by the first and second squeeze rollers ().

Liquid removing device

The object is to provide a packaging container which can improve the quality of a packaging material ( ) and which does not restrict the types of usable lid members ( ). The packaging container has a container body ( ) and a lid member ( ) welded to the top wall ( ) of the container body ( ). The lid member ( ) is composed of a main body portion ( ) having an opening ( ), as well as a lid portion ( ) swingably supported by the main body portion ( ). A rupturable portion ( ) is formed in a discharge opening portion which is defined on the top wall ( ) at a predetermined position. Since the lower surface of the lid portion ( ) is bonded to the predetermined area at a portion adjacent to the thin-wall portion ( ), when the lid portion ( ) is pulled up and rotated, the rupturable portion ( ) is ruptured, so that the packaging container is opened.

Packaging container

An object is to prevent roughening of a rupture surface of a packaging material ( ) that is formed upon opening of a spout ( ) through application of an external force. There are provided transport means for transporting a layered packaging material ( ) that is formed of a paper substrate and resin films and that has a rupture area ( ) at a location corresponding to that of opening means; a seal unit for sealing the packaging material ( ); and heating means disposed on the upstream side of the seal unit in the transport direction of the packaging material ( ) such that the heating means is opposed to an innermost layer of the packaging material ( ) in order to heat the packaging material ( ). In this case, after being heated and melted, the resin film of the packaging material ( ) is gradually cooled. As a result, thermoplastic resin that constitutes the resin film is crystallized and becomes brittle. Accordingly, when an external force is applied by use of the opening means to thereby open the spout ( ), the resin film does not stretch. As a result, the packaging material ( ) can be easily ruptured, and the rupture surface of the packaging material ( ) is prevented from being roughened, because the resin film does not have ruptured and stretched portions coexisting in a mixed manner.

Wrapping material processor and process for manufacturing packing container

An apparatus for supplying and applying cap bodies (,) to a packaging container includes a gas supplying device (,) which supplies a hydrogen-oxygen gas mixture obtained by electrolyzing water, a burner unit (,) that is connected to the gas supplying device (,) for receiving hydrogen-oxygen gas mixture from the gas supplying device (,) and burning the hydrogen-oxygen gas mixture and a pickup apparatus (,) which transports a cap body (,) to a heating position above the burner unit (,). The burner unit (,) is provided with a plurality of nozzles (,) that are arranged in a pattern that corresponds in shape to the shape of the underside periphery of the cap body (,). A shield plate (,) is positionable above the nozzles (,) to deflect the hydrogen-oxygen gas mixture emitted from the nozzles (,), and an igniter (,) is disposed adjacent one of the nozzles (,), to ignite the mixture emitted from the nozzle (,). The other nozzles (,) are then ignited as the hydrogen-oxygen mixture from such nozzles (,) is deflected by the shield plate (,). A CCD camera (,) is also provided for monitoring the flame emitted from each of said nozzles (,).

Cap applying apparatus

A parts supplying apparatus for supplying an array of resin molded part (10) includes an elongated guide member (80) having a longitudinally extending guide passage (81) through which the parts array is fed, and a rotatably driven winding device (43). The guide member has a guide surface (83) along which the parts array is guided and is also provided with at least one hole (85) through which the carrier (31, 33) is drawn to allow the carrier to be drawn away and separated from the molded parts. The carrier is adapted to be wound on the winding device for pulling the carrier and effecting movement of the parts array within the guide passage and for causing the carrier to be separated from the molded parts as the molded parts move past the hole in the guide member. A parts array utilized in conjunction with such an apparatus includes a plurality of molded parts and a carrier to which each of the molded parts are arranged in a row on the carrier. The molded parts are attached to the carrier in such a way that the molded parts are separable from the carrier when the carrier is pulled away from the molded parts. The carrier can be in the form of a pair of wires (31, 33) or a tape (131).
