A slag discharge system includes a slag bath at a bottom portion of a gasifier; a slag cooling water circulation line that discharges a mixture of slag and a slag cooling water from the slag bath; a coarse slag separator device that separates coarse slag contained in the slag cooling water; a fine slag separator device connected to the coarse slag separator device downstream side, the fine slag separator device separating fine slag; and a circulator pump connected to the fine slag separator device downstream side, the circulator pump creating a water flow in the slag cooling water circulation line; wherein the fine slag separator device includes a branch section where the slag cooling water circulation line branches into a plurality of branch lines and again joins together as one line, a fine slag filter portion, and a shutoff valve and disposed in each of the plurality of branch lines.

Slag discharge system, gasifier, and slag filtration method

An object is to curb damage localized in a slag capturing portion caused when slag passes therethrough. A slag discharge device includes: a screen mesh () that is a porous member including a plurality of through-holes () formed therein; and a crushing device () that crushes water-granulated slag (S) captured by the screen mesh (). The crushing device has a crusher head () that breaks, with a pressure, and thus crushes the water-granulated slag (S), a hydraulic cylinder () that reciprocates the crusher head in a predetermined direction, a guide plate () that restricts movement of the crusher head caused by the hydraulic cylinder, and a plurality of crushing spaces () in which the water-granulated slag (S) is crushed. A communication opening that causes the crushing spaces () to communicate with each other is formed in a partitioning wall guide plate () of the guide plate.

Slag discharge device, gasifier furnace and integrated gasification combined cycle, and slag discharge method

A system is disclosed provided with: a slag bath that retains slag cooling water and receives slag; a slag cooling water feed line and a slag pump outlet via which the slag and the slag cooling water are pumped and fed to a slag separation device; a circulation pump that forms a water flow for pumping out the slag; a slag cooling water circulation line linking from the slag separation device to the slag bath; a reverse flow line that causes the slag cooling water dispensed from the circulation pump to flow in reverse in the slag cooling water feed line; a selective supply unit capable of selectively supplying the slag cooling water dispensed from the circulation pump to the slag cooling water circulation line and the reverse flow line; and a water supply line, one end of which is connected to the slag cooling water feed line.

Slag discharge system, gasifier provided with same, and method for operating slag discharge system

Provided are a char feeding hopper that makes it possible to accurately measure char, a char recovery system, and a coal gasification combined power generation system. The char feeding hopper comprises: a char feeding hopper body that feeds separated char to a coal gasifier side; at least two casing tubes () that are inserted from a side wall of the char feeding hopper body and that are provided so as to be aligned with one another in the vertical axis direction; a radiation source section () that is provided within the casing tube () and that emits &#x3b3;-rays within the char feeding hopper body; and a &#x3b3;-ray detector that is provided within the casing tube () and that detects emitted &#x3b3;-rays. The cross-section of each casing tube () has a shape that is provided with a tapered section () having an apex angle on the upper edge thereof.
