A train control device includes a train position detector, a storage, and an in-vehicle controller. The train position detector detects a traveling position of a train. The storage stores therein a traveling position of the train when a loss of contact of the current collector occurs, as a loss-of-contact position. When the train travels in a predetermined section including the loss-of-contact position with reference to the traveling position of the train and the storage, the in-vehicle controller causes the train to perform coasting traveling in the predetermined section.

Train control device

A train control device, according to one embodiment, includes a storage unit, an acquiring unit, and a control unit. The storage unit is configured to store therein information of a plurality of limit speeds corresponding to a plurality of respective blocks and being determined based on a block on which a preceding train traveling at least one ahead is located. The acquiring unit is configured to acquire schedule information of the preceding train indicating a time at which the preceding train exits each of the blocks. The control unit is configured to determine a limit speed in each of the blocks associated with a travel of a train, based on the acquired schedule information and the information of the limit speeds; and to create a travel plan of the train using the determined limit speed.

According to an embodiment, a train control device includes an acceleration detection unit and a train control unit. The acceleration detection unit detects acceleration of a train along a rotation radius direction, when the train is turning and passing a curved section of a rail line with a cant. The train control unit sets a passing speed of the train passing through the curved section so that a state of the train is placed in a balanced cant, based on a direction of the detected acceleration.

According to one embodiment, a train control system for a train is disclosed, the control system includes a speed detection unit configured to detect the train speed, a position detecting unit configured to detect position information of the train, a signal aspect speed receiver to receive signal aspect speed information from outside the train, an automatic train operation (ATO) unit that is configured to output a first throttle notch command to drive the train between stations and to stop the train at a target position, a specification notch pattern output unit configured to selectively output a second throttle notch control command. The signal aspect speed information includes a speed limit for a location. The first output throttle notch command is based, at least in part, on the signal aspect speed information.

A distributed control device in a decentralized supervisory control system comprises an I/O interface, a data storage section for storing PIO data from a controller and additional information such as data obtention time, a time obtention section for adding a time to the data when the data is stored in the data storage section, a data distribution section for distributing the PIO data and other supervisory information, a supervisory control section for carrying out supervisory control using the PIO data from the controller, a network interface for communicating with other distributed control devices and the supervisory device, and a communication section for connecting this distributed control device to the other distributed control devices and the supervisory device.
